That is so sweet! I hope to have a yard full next year so I can share. However this year I was so blessed to move into a house where one was growing in the back yard. I am really looking forward to harvesting it. This year I am going to keep the harvest on this one lol b/c I love sunflower seeds, & they are one of my favorite foods in the whole world. I have never had them straight from the plant before always the store bought ones. I'm really looking forward to how they compare, lol.

For anyone who is wondering, the seeds come off easier if you dry the heads in the sun for a day, but this method also works if you're only harvesting a few

Amazing…. The seeds are a great source of nutrients that your body needs.. Nature is brilliant and provides everything we need… we as humans need to run away from processed foods, and get back to basics of eating… the odd take away now and again is fine..
