    Yeah, that corn miiiiiiight not taste so great. In general, you don't ever want to fertilize once fruit/seed production has begun. It's stressful to the plant, and the edible bits tend to take on flavors that should not be there.

    @@jamaraquai4224 Fish emulsion is a very light fertilizer and works great for me. But I appreciate feedback.

    Oh awesome! Corn is not that difficult I believe. The people in my life have been such downers but I really think its worth it to grow them. Thank you for this!! I didn’t know I even needed nitrogen.

    The corn is not taller than you. It's in a raised bed and you are standing on the ground. It pays to be accurate.

    @KarenHillier-c6u Not at all. Once you plant it the roots are deep so it's hard to get rid of it but doesn't spread fast at all.

    Potatos bugs use sevin dust or dawn dish soap and vinegar in spray bottle

    @@gardengalfun3224 I think its just an old rule of thumb...and applies more to farmers who dont stagger planting like it sounds like you do. do those last rows produce the same yield? What climate are you in?
