Just started watching your video. You have a beautiful home. Can't believe how you have such a schedule. Wish I could be so scheduled. Happy Easter Charlene. What a great video. You reminded me I need to clean my front doors. They are less than 6 months old and freshly painted a pretty green, but are covered in pollen. I need to get out there with my leaf blower and blast as much yellow as I can then get the old bucket of water with dawn and a rag and get busy! I so look forward to my time with you on Sundays. I keep a clean tidy home like you do and really like having goals and schedules to keep up with things. I get overwhelmed if I don't work in zones. Hi Sissy - As always, I really enjoyed your video. I am somewhat at a loss for cleaning right now - my house is in an uproar. Kitchen reno is starting on Tuesday, so everything is topsy turvy. This will be my life for the next week and probably several days afterward. Guess I will just have to be patient. Btw, I keep meaning to say that every time I catch a glimpse of your neighbourhood outside your windows, it reminds me so much of my SIL’s (hubby’s sister) place. We are in Canada, but she is in Stone Mountain Georgia. xo

Hi Jo…I remember those days of Reno. Boy were they nerve wracking but so worth it. Hang in there and remember, it’s always worse before it gets better. BTW: Stone Mountain is about 35 minutes north of me.

I can always count on you for the most relaxing Sunday video. You know this means you csn never stop making them. 😅 How do you like your microwave? With no turntable do you need to stop and rotate things? Also do you save the pieces cut off the chicken along with veggie scraps to make broth? Just curious. I hope you and your family have a beautiful Easter. My option today was to go to my daughter in laws parents house but I really am not up to sitting outside all day in the pollen on uncomfortable chairs, so I will stay home and watch the Braves. Hey Carol…the Sharp Microwave does a great job of heating our food but I don’t like cleaning it. It takes extra effort to bend down and reach in to clean the top and back. Other than that, I like it and we don’t turn our food. Yes hubby bags them and makes broth. Great idea on staying home and relaxing…I’m doing the same. Thanks again and see you Sunday.

Hi Sissy! Happy Easter to you and your family.. Thank you for explaining when you deep clean and then when you do your regular every week clean.. I was trying to figure out how you had the time (and energy) to deep clean everything every single week! I think that I learns something new from you on every video! After going to church this morning I am more of less relaxing the rest of the day. I had our big family Easter celebration on Friday as well as our annual yard sale Friday and Saturday so I am pooped. I am definitely not as young as I used to be. Haha. Have a great week..

Hi and thanks for returning to watch. I needed trash bins on both sides of the island because the island is 9x12 and walking around it would waste a lot of time. Having a trash bin near the fridge and another near the cooktop is more convenient. Thanks again and see you Sunday.

Unfortunately that would be a very short video. I print out the monthly calendars and update them as I go. I also, keep any importantly documents, by month and take care of them as needed. Along with holding my favorite recipes, the binder serves as a reminder of any upcoming events or appointments for the family. That’s it.

Hi! Happy Holidays to you and your family! I look forward to your video now every weekend, ty! Im seeing my house thru new eyes thanks to you. Im cleaning the darnedest things. For example, the recessed inner part of the handles on our laundry baskets, they're plastic and collect dust. Wow they look so much better. I am also cleaning the doors near the knobs which get pretty dirty here. I have a question for you. The tile in the kitchen needs your help. Ive tried lots of things to no avail. Near the stove there's oil splatters as well as grout sealant that dripped, he didn't wipe it up immediately when he applied it unfortunately. Any thoughts on this? Ty. I want to thank you for the motivation that you inspire us with, its such a help as well as your outlook. Have a great day :)

Hi Deborah. I hope you and yours enjoyed Easter. We ate well and relaxed all day. Unfortunately I’m not sure how to remove sealant but I suggest rubbing alcohol. Hubby said try a stripping agent but, in my opinion that maybe too harsh. The oil splatters can be removed with Dawn Dish Detergent or Dawn Powerwash. I hope this helps. See you Sunday.

Hi, Emily. I always use the Dawn Powerwash…spray well, allow it to sit overnight, then used a scrub brush and wipe clean. This works for me every time. If it doesn’t work for you, you may need to use the Fume Free Easy Off Oven Cleaner. I haven’t used Easy Off in over 20 years, so hopefully, it still works.
