So good to see the grandkids over helping out. I do run my dishwasher at night when I go to bed. I just bought a new washer and I got the agitator one, the one that broke was a Maytag and had no agitator. My new one washes much better and my clothes smell cleaner.

I agree! We bought an agitator- less washer and it was awful! When we moved and needed another new washer, we went back to having an agitator. Much better!!

Hi Robin. My washer has no agitater and I don't like it. Doesn't do a good job. I run my dishwasher early or late. Electricity supposed to be cheaper.🤷‍♀️ Never heard of the that theory. I mop less and less as years go by. I dont worry about stuff like I did when i was younger. Your deck and backyard space is perfect for family gatherings. Would love it! Tfs❤

Hey Friend, Happy Wednesday. We all need some therapy in our lives especially in busy and hard times. Cleaning isn’t therapy to me but it is therapy to my mom. My therapy is relaxing, watching KZread, and listening to music. 😊 I will find every excuse I can to not clean but it still needs to get done. So I have to force myself and tell myself it will be worth it. 😂

Hi Robin Make sure you get a machine that has an agitater & can select your water level! Mine - has an agitater but the machine choses the water level by how much you put in it. There is never enough water, all it does is wet your clothes. I dislike it so much. It so hard & the clothing. Enjoy each & and every one of your visits 😊 Enjoy your family ❤

Hi Robin! We do 4 cups of water and 1 cup of sugar for our hummingbird feeders. We love to just sit out on our patio and watch our little birds. You have a beautiful family Robin. Little Lanie is so cute as well as your new grand dog!!

Ratio for hummingbird nectar is 1 cup of sugar to 2 cups of water. Look up a hummingbird feeder mote. They keep the ants out. They are simple to make but I can't remember how.

Hi Robin, you are so blessed with a beautiful family! I also run my dishwasher at night and unload in thd morning. I'm not very motivated yet today. I caught a wicked stomach virus that my Kevin's family had and it wiped me out. Hopefully I'll be back to myself very soon. I'm like you I'm such a people pleaser and I feel like I have to do everything for everyone. I better look up Let them be. I had a make your own pizza and pool party that Sunday before Memorial Day. I wish I could insert photos here. The kids gave my husband an outdoor pizza oven last Father's day and it is awesome. I did the crusts and had every topping imaginable out there to finish them. All 18 of us were here, it was so fun! Have a great Summer with your new pool. ❤

Omgosh robin... I did laugh when I saw you folding laundry in the living room. You do have a lot going on. Sometimes when I am mopping I will put some old rags and towels under my shoes and use my feet & legs and call it a workout!!!! 😂 we just got a new washer and went back to the old school top loader- we love it so much . Love the shirt.

...I don't have a Washing Machine with an Agitator.. I have had one of those up until about 7 years ago , ..I have an Electrolux Steam Washer ( front load ) and an Electrolux Steam Dryer. ... these changed the Game. Lol..These are not " new " but I love how they work. I've been Watching/ Reading / Listening to Mel Robbins for quite a long time . ... so I appreciate your speaking about her... The " Let Them " Theory is a Life Tool, however... I balance that out with not allowing people to disrespect me, treat me shabbily , etc. The Sugar / Water Ratio for the Feeder is imported... and they make special " Anti - Ant things " for the Feeders. I also use these Granules, by Terro , to put all around on the ground , by the Feeders ,and surrounding areas. This Product keeos away Ants/ Spiders / Fleas, all kinds of things. It's also important to clean the Feeders at least once a week, reallyvwell. With hot water, ...due to mold build- up , etc , which will kill the Hummingbirds. I just use diluted Vinegar and a toothbrush...then RINSE REALLY WELL. I hope you enjoyed your Memorial Day ,Miss Robin.. 🙏🏻😊🙂🩷

Hi sweet Robin. I had to get a new washer a few weeks ago and I am happy to report that Lowe’s had 3 or 4 different washers with the agitator. They also had a few models where the agitator was removable. I feel like clothes get cleaner with the agitator but I had to get a front load because I have a shelf that goes too far over so I can’t have a top load. Hummingbird food recipe - 4 cups water 1 cup white sugar. No honey, artificial sweeteners or food coloring. Have a good week. ❤❤❤

Hi Robin, nothing like freshly mopped floors but man I hate that chore! I have had a Bona for years & I love it for a quick clean. I like that I can keep a couple cleaning pads on hand to switch out while one is in the wash. If I know company is coming, I’ll do that in a pinch! I clean my feeder every week Robin, hummingbird can die from the mold build up. I use a pipe cleaner in the tiny holes. I do 4 cups of water & 1 cup of sugar. Life has taught me “let them”! It’s hard to do as a mom but I’m getting there. You can only control yourself & trying to control anyone else or a situation just hurts you is what I have found.

Loved the end with all those sweet kiddos. We need to have a meet and greet on the back patio. Looks so good The hummingbird bird mixture is 4 cups water to 1 cup sugar. I sometimes go smaller amounts when not lots of birds and use 2 cups water to 1/2 cup sugar.

..I think the Mixture. I use is 4 cups of Wayer, 1 Cup of Sugar ...and I place these No - Ant Granules around the area on the ground, where I place my feeder, and I sprikle Cinnamon on areas where the Ants might travel, but NOT ON the Feeder itsekf . Ants do not like Cinnamon. ..I also use an " Ant Moat : on the Feeder for added measure. I am quite late in watching, but I dont mind playing " Catch Up " , and cute Family Clips at the end ! Hey Robin! You are absolutely right about the washing machines with no agitator even the very expensive only 2 years old , name brand who, seems to make great electronics not so good on appliances but that's not the issue here. My daughter owns the washing machine in question. She washes my clothes because I am disabled . The washer just seems like it doesn't clean well enough. My whites have gotten green and green over time . The colors are just not bright like they should be. I use the good brands of additives . I don't know what is going on with it but to me with no agitator it's not moving the clothes around and getting all the cleaning agents through to all the clothes . The agitating action more mimics a scrubbing motion as best as a machine could. Anyway sweetie, just my experience. Love your content!!

There is a tube of gel you put on the hummingbird feeder on the top that keeps the ants out. I buy this att Lowes hardware. I also heard Vaseline works. Since I started using that gel I have had no problems. The ratio is 4 to 1.

For my hummingbirds I use 1 cup of sugar and 3 cups of water. The first cup I use really hot water to dissolve the sugar. Good!

You can still get washing machines with agitators. Because I'm the same way, I think you have to have an agitator to get your clothes clean. And I got a new washer 2 years ago with an agitator.

Robin, you need to get an ant mote. It’s a little plastic like cup you put on top of the feeder and put water in it and it keeps the ants away. You can get them from Lowe’s.
