Just a friendly advice. Please train your kids while they are young. Especially little tasks like putting their dirty clothes in the hamper instead of throwing on the floor and everywhere . Teaching them to pick up their toys, folding their own clothes etc. Your kids should be your helper, make this a routine and instead of giving kids everything they want, teach them to earn it. This will help them to understand as they are growing up. Help them to know how hard you work having your business plus taking care of the house,cooking, cleaning etc. I used to do chore list for my children. Now they both adults and married and have their own children.

Becka, you are very hard on yourself. You just had major surgery and it takes at least eight weeks, at a minimum, to really feel recovered. The messy house can wait. Your health and taking care of the kids is what matters now.

Hi Becka, Thanks for this motivation as I'm in need of it. I found out I have broken hardware in my back and oh the pain and am now looking at more surgery. So I have been out of my routine, and being a 68 yr old widow raising my grandsons is not easy. When I get behind, it takes me forever to catch up...I don't move fast😢. We can work on routines together😊. Have fun at Disney and I want you to enjoy family and friends and just relax... you need it❤❤

Girl! My husband loves going to Disney, my 35 year old son And his family loves all the Disney parks! I say age doesn’t matter, he will love doing that with you and his brothers, so don’t be sad. It boils down to time together and that’s what I think it’s all about. Have a wonderful time on vacation and best wishes for many, many more together.

Girl I know what you mean about the house never feeling 100% in each room. I make my bed every morning because if the bed is made, the room feels cleaner lol. And I have somewhere to go and sit or lay down and feel at peace.

We went to animal kingdom ourselves Great idea we had spring break early in florida❤

If your children are in school they are old enough to make their own bed every day. They ate old enough to put their dirty clothes in the hamper every time without you telling them. They are old enough to put their own clothes away. Once a week on Saturday or Sunday morning they should strip their beds bring all the laundry to the laundry room. Dust and vacuum their room. The two can trade off one dust one vacuum one bring down dirty clothes and sheets one brings up the clean clothes both put away their own clothing. You can help them remake the beds a few time until they learn how to to it then it's on them. Teach your oldest how to clean the shared bathroom that's his job along with his room. The other bathroom your second oldest gets that job. Teach them these life skills now your not a maid your there mother. You can do your room and bathroom the same time your children are doing their rooms and the bathrooms. Make sure everyone has a second set of sheets so everything can be done in a hours time except the laundry. While the laundry is being done you can teach your children how to cook. You can meal prepare for the week. Plus make a huge Chilli that can be had for one meal plus one lunch the remainder can be frozen for school lunches or a easy dinner during the week. Just label it with a date contents if its big you know it's dinner if it's a small Tupperware bowl you know it's lunch. Make a huge pasta sauce again eat one meal with leftover for school lunches keep out enoughto do pizza Friday. Freeze lable and date the remaining sauce. You can do this with soups and tons of other meals. Your children can pre all kinds of vegetables with a chopper. I bet you have one the rectangle 1 that comes with different sized screens to cut vegetables in different sizes you lay whatever on top of the screen then you take the handle and push down and it goes into a bin underneath the screen. Buy onions, bananas , and green peppers when on sale and put in sandwiche bags lable and freeze. You can teach them how to make easy derserts like chocolate pie. Buy a graham cracker crust pie shell chocolate pudding mix and Cool Whip. Mix the pudding according to instructions pour in shell put in fridge for half hour then top with whipped cream. There are hundreds of easy recipes like this. And quality time together having fun sharing responsibility and eating is not only preparing them for being on their own but how to act when they are with their significant other. Last but not least you need to get a chore chart for doing dishes taking out the garbage putting away the dishes. Every night after dinner everyone brings their plate glass and silverware into the kitchen. If there is stuff left on the plate it's their job to scrape that into the trash. Whoever turn it is to do the dishes start washing the dishes you put the left over into containers for their lunch tomorrow or a container for your lunch. Whoever turn it's takes out the trash while whoever turn it's wipes and puts away the dishes. You can wipe down the counters and stove sweep and run the steamer. The whole cleaning up of the kitchen should take the three of you fifteen minutes tops. During the week pick one day to dust the next to vacuum that way your not over whelmed and everything is done. Teach your children how to live in the real world and how to take care of themselves. P.S after this is routine teach them how to do their own laundry. Like i said your a single mother not a maid. Put your children to work learning life skills that will last them a life time.

21:44 Why don't you hire a part time cleaner who comes in once a week and then you can ask them to clean all thr places that you didn't clean? Lile the extra bathrooms & all the other places you didn't clean? Also why don't you involve your children in the cleaning process? They definitely have to learn from a young age how to clean, dusto, fold clothes, make breakfast/lunch for the family & so on. They can also help vacuum or mop and so on.

Hey Tasha, just not where I want to spend my money to be honest. My oldest does do all of those things along with the lawn. My younger ones are learning all these things, I just don’t film it and make it content as I don’t feel comfortable doing that 😊

I didn’t do that. I work from top to bottom, top handle and then down to the lid and the last thing I clean is under the seat because I feel like that’s the nastiest.

That’s the other way her and her kids only care of there image the rest is last if you look good it takes worth and after all that why would you want to get dirty after your clean I to have my ways like nothing dirty after clean items 😮
