DrillCraving the difference is; smiv wasn't taking unnecessary digs at the other team and just lying. spencer was changing camera angles so it wouldn't show the player that was onside being 'offside'. smiv's was way more neutral. also, spencer was being so disrespectful during the minutes silence; he's a dickhead.

The power of editing from both Smiv and Spencer

I actually enjoy the whole 'not sure what league this is' banter. We do something different. Don't expect you guys to like it. It's all good! As for the comments regarding the ref, I will be first to say he didn't have a good game but it was nowhere near as in our favour and this video purveys it (we were only team to pick up a booking might I add - maybe have a watch of our version (12 minutes longer) to see why that's quite strange). In terms of the ref, he was provided by Middlesex FA (pretty sure you guys know the FA) and regularly refs in the Ryman League (semi pro aka a fair few levels above Palmers - also a league that 5 of our players have spent the last decade in - not me though, I'm getting carried big time as I'm sure you can tell). One of the benefits of us having multiple camera angles is that we can analyse said referring decisions. One of the worst tackles of the game was on Dan Brown by Palmers CM which your camera unfortunately didn't pick up. Ours did. We also saw the offside. Yes your player was in his half when he received, but when ball was played he was in ours and was offside. Again I have video evidence if you'd like? It's a shame it had to end like this. This video is as I expected and nothing to too bad although bit of a ratchet job on Rich Beck when your 6 is just as bad. FYI I point out in my edit that Rich shouldn't have done what he did at the end (he was trying to stop quick freekick but unfairly took out 88 in the process and I had a word with him afterwards. I also took off John Dawson when he got a yellow card as I didn't want game to get silly. The fact Smiv doesn't mention 6 elbowing both our strikers in the back of the head - amongst other things - is a real shame for the neutral. He even tries to say the foul on Ryan that lead to goal might not have been a freekick when it's clear as day. Anyway, I'm over it, as Smiv said in the post match interview on my channel, the better team won (funny you didn't mention the ref or linos or any of the other excuses in that interview smiv?). Sunday league is a lot of fun. Many of us still play it. I think this game has answered a few critics about the ability of our side though. Say what you want about our set up, say you want about me, but Hashtag United beat you and I think it's really hurt you guys to admit that. All the best for the rest of your "real-life" season, we're off to America. Yours sincerely, Hashtag United...oh and don't forget to Hashtag it.

Because even with your 12 extra minutes (nice, subtle dig there Spenny!) you didn't show the whole picture either, did ya? Also mate, take a look at your comment section, a big part of your own subscribers are slating you! If that isn't an indication that your video and commentary was biased I don't know what is I have no problems with either you or Smiv and I enjoy your content but the way you (yes, Smiv aswell) have handled this is beyond embarrassing and I think it's best if you both leave this behind you All the best!

I used to like the hashtag players, but i think the fame has gone to their heads after a cynical performance, trying to wind up palmers and just being generally annoying. Ref was biased as well. Well done Palmers!

Alex Stone people make it seem like Spencer's was edited to cut out unfair ruling, when this video has such narrow and bad filming that sometimes you don't even see the players. Sure, Spencer's narration was biased, but so was Smiv's but with a lot more back-handed insults. both of the teams should have got at least 2 reds each, because you showed all hastag fouls but at the same time spencer did too, referee took bad decisions either way so at the end hastag were more clinical than palmers so they deserved it

I think this game should happen again it's a perfect rivalry that could be played on a yearly basis. Football isn't always about the teams that like each other it's about competitive hard fought games. This games is like a real life rivalry where both teams will disagree on each other's decisions which makes it fun to watch both sides for the viewer. This was the best Sunday league game on both chanels I've seen .

This game was very dodgy, so many decisions given against Palmers, and so many given in favour of Hashtag... Hashtag were very scrappy, and quite rough at times, which is totally different from the way they are portrayed as. Very poor stuff. *JUST FINISHED WATCHING SPENCER'S VIDEO: the video that was taken down by Hashtag United clearly show there was no offside, Spencer said that it was an obvious decision and didn't show a replay, a lot of Spencer's video is very unbalanced and didn't show a lot of Palmers' best moments or any unbalanced decisions. I used to love Spencer's videos, untill this biased shite. Also, the kid who shouted something during the moment of silence is a disgusting person.

People who dislike this video don't play Sunday league...they just sit on KZread all day watching watching 'Spencer Fc'

6th AVE Watched both videos. You get some horrible tackles in Sunday league, which what makes it Sunday league. I've played in a charity game against someone who was throwing elbows, but I didn't moan like some of these have done. I'm not partial to any team at all, but football has gone soft it seems

JWhittle11 yeah it has but again it's meant to be a friendly and I'm not siding with anyone because I used to be subscribed to both channels but that's still not an excuse for elbows two footed challenges and high challenges and smiv decided to edit them out of his and only highlight the ones that might have been controversial. Some players from both sides were dirty but again the palmers lot are making it worse by reacting and starting petty things and trying to wind them up.

It was a feisty affair with poor challenges flying in everywhere and some debatable refereeing with a Palmers FC goal seemingly being disallowed for offside. But Hashtag united edged it and played better overall in the match which is why they won.

As is the case with most media, the story is told from the editors/commentators perspective. I've watched both editions of this footage and there is two sides to the issues in this game. At the end of the day the ref booked two Hashtag players, gave a debatable offside and generally let the game flow where possible. The referee's decisions would be argued regardless of where this match was played. Both teams played their game, I enjoyed both videos and will continue to subscribe to both channels, the only people who would have seen the full 90 minutes are the people in attendance on the night, and those people paid a fee which went to charity, that's the most important thing. Both channels will gain subscribers as they both should. Win/win for everyone regardless of the result of the match. Rematch on the cards?

Totally agree with the footage being bias by both channels. Also, a lot of people moaning about hashtag playing dirty, but Palmer gave as good as they got. And at end of the day, half the fun in Sunday league games is winding up the opposition by having digs here n there. Footballs a contact sport, stop getting so salty.

Zigs Media - that's "Sunday League", that's football. You see it week in, week out on the pitches, provocation is accepted as standard across all levels. It happens in every Palmers video, the difference between a standard Palmers game and this one is this was a friendly (although fought like a final), I think if you watch both perspectives you get both views, as a fan of one you will lean towards their perspective regardless of fact. At the end of the day it was a good game, with a result, whichever way it went it was clearly entertaining for the fans in attendance.

Kieran Dockerty my friend was there with his little brother, he hardly watches KZread at all, so he is no fan of none of these two teams. And it wasn't provocations as usual, e.g. Rich beck tackling down Michael, when the game was already stopped. Hashtag were just not used to this and overreacted a lot of times.

Seen both channels versions and was at the game itself and there were a lot of ego's flying around all over the place. Shame you guys didn't concentrate more on the football otherwise it could have been a better quality game! Overall though think Hashtag just edged it and deserved the win, even though i've seen you guys play better football than that!

Dont think he made that many bad decisions tbh.. Everyone's just one sided. I support the Palmers and honestly that was just a match of football.. Palmers were just as bad as Hashtag in terms of being unsportsmanlike

if you're a saturday/sunday league footballer like myself when it comes down to a big game there is gonna be alot of animosity on the pitch, big tackles flying in, words been said, pushing and shoving and alot of arguing, both teams were up for it and knew for themselves they both wanted to win so it was obviously going to be an aggressive game!

I mean I'm not a Palmars FC I'm a Hashtag fan but I still loved the video Smiv what a funny commentator😂

Abud Khaleel Spencer's team was looking better even if ref was with them... they created more chances and were more clinical.

Big respect to Smiv for leaving the minutes silence in all his videos that have them; bit disrespectful that Spencer cut that out.

smiv took more shots in this video than hashtag did in the whole game

None of this would have happened if Andy was reffing. I heard he got offered the gig, but he missed his stop off the bus as he was telling the driver how he won the under 14's Essex FA referee of the year award.

Of course I'm watching Smiv's video over Spencer (I do like Spen so I'm not a harsh bastard.)

Looking back, it is very obvious how biased the ref was. Imagine the result with the new team with an Essex FA ref at Palmers College.

I watch both Hashtag Utd and Palmers FC videos every week and enjoy both of them but Smiv handled this so poorly... Just take the loss well instead of crying about the ref, perfect example is the tackle at 9:28, if you actually watch the tackle you see he goes in with studs up its an obvious foul as are many of the other tackles that Palmers players put in. Some of the tackles Tommo puts in throughout the game and didn't get a yellow, how can you say the ref is being bias?

I think both teams have handled this pretty poorly, considering that a large amount of both sets of fans are quite young and members of both teams are swearing and threatening each other on twitter, not really setting a good example. It was just a normal Sunday league game, you have bad tackles, bad refs etc. There was no need to get so worked up about it... At least its good for the views I suppose, maybe they planned it so they could get even more hype for the videos and a rematch?

All of you are going on about Spencer not having a good game of football and not having any sportsmanship and all of that. What did Spencer actually do? He has a team, he played a game which he won and he did nothing, and you putting all the hate onto him.

The difference is, Palmers are a Sunday League team, Smiv's videos are meant to show us what it's like in the Sunday League, never hiding any discrepancies, because that is what Sunday League is However Hashtag United, as someone else in the comments pointed out, is basically just a franchise, manipulating the footage to keep up their seemingly angelic appearance. Hashtag is nothing like the real Sunday League, the stadium, the jackets, the multiple camera angles, even the name, it has warped people's perception of Sunday League. Sub note: respect you +Smiv for leaving in the minute silence, unlike Spencer
