For sure. I think Smiv influenced it more in a way for setting up teams and stuff, but Spencer influenced it in a way of just football on KZread in general with like football Vs FIFA etc

Honestly it's so good to see you two when a nice chat with each other. Even though we all knew the air was cleared it's still really nice to see you two getting on again. You boys should play their sunday team in a rematch.

This match introduced me to the Palmers and Smiv channels so it was all positive for me

Definitely agree it was the edits and lack of understanding between both teams prior to both videos being released that sparked the drama which otherwise would of been a no hassle collaboration. I think their was a lot of pride and pressure hanging on this game though not just for both clubs but for both channels being represented as individual KZread brands . This was a huge derby game understandably and I think both sides were always going to be bias. But looking back if you had both seen each other’s edits and shared clips like the offside incident and others and told each other what you would be releasing I think it would of prevented this feud from happening

I loved the palmers vs hashtag 'beef' it was a bit of a laugh to me. Gave it the feel of a derby game and proper football. Think a rematch game maybe in division 1 could have been a good way of ending the series. Also an opportunity to end in better terms.

Great to see this conversation. I loved Palmers and didn't like Hashtag after the game. Really admire how far Hashtag have come under Spencer. Its fantastic that Palmers are still showing games still very much the best football content on here imo.Could never understand why sub numbers didn't go through the roof always thought Sky/Soccer AM could have given you much more exposure as the team and channel were uniquely the best look at Sunday League football there has ever been and continue to be on KZread. Wishing you both every success for the future but will always be a huge Palmers / Smiv fan.

Went from no respect for Spencer because I one of those children who chose orange over yellow. To having incredible respect for him, to think that the whole scene of KZread football would be different if this game between two powerhouses finished in another way is nuts. You’ve just got to put respect on Smiv and Spencer’s name after this video. Years of unanswered questions!

Ref was still definitely dodgy that day. Not saying it's Spences fault, maybe the ref wanted to make himself the star or some shit, I don't know but it seemed more than incompetence

The match really tested Spencer's ability to maintain the Mr. Nice Guy persona. Some of his reactions on pitch looked so out of character to me suggesting that his true colours came out when his beloved Hashtag were on the ropes by a (very talented) Sunday league team. True sportsmanship is maintaining composure in the toughest moments in sport. I understand passionate outbursts but almost all the decisions were in his favour, the pitch suited them, the fans too. As a fan of both teams I lost complete respect for Spencer. I can understand the other 10 men losing their heads but this man claims to be a leader, captaining teams at Wembley Stadium ffs. Good to hear that Spencer recognizes the mistakes made on the occasion and that lessons were there to be learned.

But to explain further the more the successful you have both become equates to more lack of awareness, and the need/want to be recognised. Believe it or not I’m a big fan of your on the road series but the aiming for 10k likes gimmick seems a bit needy. I appreciate my opinion holds none to little value but I’m giving it anyway!

If you watch other creators you’ll find they set like targets, ask to subscribe, heck! Even ask you to part with money to buy their merch, it’s very normal. Now onto you.
