Great instructions! We just assembled a 4781 which is the same size but with gray walls and doors and black roof. The side bars also had some mismatched screw holes; and one was cut with notches on one end instead of a straight cut, didn't affect the function but just looks sloppy. Did your roof have the holes for the main hinges and front lid bar? Like you I preassembled the hinge/shock assemblies then installed on the walls, but with no screw holes on the plastic I was worried the hinges wouldn't line up correctly. I ended up taking the hinges off the walls then installed them and the front bar with the roof laying upside-down so I could hold the parts better.

Watching this ahead of shed delivery scheduled for 2/2/2024. Your presentation was great, and I expect to watch it again before assembly. Thanks! Much more helpful than Suncast's own assembly video! Based on some Amazon reviews, I wondered if it would be junk, but your assembly makes it look like all I could expect! My purchase seems to be one of the last in stock, so I can only hope it arrives in good condition.

I'm considering getting this to house my gas powered backup home generator. I plan on installing an intake vent and an exhaust fan. Generator weighs 230 pounds. Do you think the shed would work for this purpose? I'd like to disassemble the shed when not needed and assemble it when the power goes out. Practical? Thanks

So I noticed you didn’t put the cc screws in the corner brackets closest to the center of corner holes? That would have probably made my assembly easier. I think pieces were warping some from sitting outside several days prior to being able to assemble and omg I couldn’t get the front bracket for roof to nest down close enough. So nothing wanted to line up correct and I am gonna have to try n fix that also don’t like the gap it left when installing the sides once you slide them backwards there is gap at floor near front I may add some flex seal tape on it. Thought about spray foam but I don’t know. I just got freaked out cause went to put together and had the floor sitting decided to add vapor barrier and picked it up and there was a snake under it I almost peed my pants! Video very helpful but I watched it and read manual and then re watched about the front bracket on roof. I did my roof way the manual says and no no no should have done it how you did. I did this all by myself! And I’m disabled it almost killed me holding the roof up trying to get things to line up couldn’t bend down to get screws ended up holding roof on my head even and then have broken shoulder and had to hold it up high using that arm cause it’s left and I’m right handed but my help never showed up just a lot of excuses. So I had no choice but to do it. All other pieces light weight had holes for easy carry. Sliding the sides in I had to just stand inside on the floor and use my leg to tap the bottom outside to slide it lol that worked. And for a lot of it I would just begin a cc screw to hold n place. But screwing in the corner first then adding brackets to back and sides was so bad. Just trying to decide how to line it up would I force screws anyway? Or not etc but my handle didn’t even line up with the lock hasp n the end I had to jiggle things around the doors even didn’t come together good I had to pull the handles together. Also the spots for hinge already knocked out I’m wondering if was a return. Thanks for the video tho hoping I can go back and make few slight changes and it will b ok. Hate to remove the front piece on roof completely I’m gonna try n take off re install but it’s too long wouldn’t allow for lid to close but again I think it’s cause pieces were just not lining up due to being in box outside getting super cold then rain then took out stood upright against fence couple days and notice the floor which sat flat entire time was warping upwards on the outer edges where sides go. It should adjust tho my Rubbermaid shed has been wrecked twice and doors warp failing to close and once you get it back right it seems fine over time. Prob same for this but I don’t want gaps in it or top not closing and it’s furthest thing toward back of my lot so critters are an issue. I have a bayou behind me. Considering the shelf possibly not sure. Have a lot to deck storage too may get matching shed to this or a second one of these this would be ok to take apart and move.

I don't believe they can be compressed by hand. They need the weight of the roof.
