I only got 2 good talismans in Rise after 500 hours, 3 points of Attack Boost with a level 3 slot and 2 points of Weakness Exploit with a level 2 slot

uh i got 3 level atk boost with two one slots, yours is the upgrade. i would love a talisman with speed eating and free meal 3 or one with divine blessing 3 and a 4 slot. i just keep dreaming about that

Had a God Talisman pull of lvl 4 and 2 slot, 2 Chain Crit, 1 Evade Extender.

"Playstyles will differ" unless you play gunlance, then its bullet barrage all day every day. That isn't a bad thing though!

Man I detest RNG pots, from Decos to Talismans and power crystals (World/Iceborne).

PSA: if anyone's got some old god rolls or really good talismans that you really like don't throw away old/lower rarity talismans until you get a better version in the new rarity.

I’m a GL main and one of my first talismans was a 2-1 lvl 1 redirection and lvl 2 wire bug whisperer. I was so happy! I love bullet barrage spam in Sunbreak!

Most MR armor in the game is good as it is, so many full sets. Honestly just want good utility ones with wirebug whisper and spiribird caller with some manner of slots, or a full redirect. It helps open slots in builds.

The healer one turns normal potions to basically mega and mega into max its insane how much it gives

I remember farming Zinogre "Wrath of thunder descends" event quest nearly 800 times just for decos in Iceborne... Totally hated it. But when I look at the talisman skill level and slots... I wish deco farming is a thing again and won't mind or complain farming for it for another 800 times.

Not having guaranteed decos harms more build making than RIse system. You can make exxtremely strong end game builds with any talisman with 2x Lv2 Slots, which isn't crazy rng, but god help you to get all the appropriate decorations to fit your builds in World. If they're gonna give me one RNG, i'd take the talisman everyday.

You only need 1 decent, semi-random Talisman. You need 5~10 specific Decos for a build though.

i got a evade extender 2 partbreaker 2 with 2/2 slots, it could be better but it has 2 very relevant skills for me so its a very good one for the moment. still hoping for a chain crit talisman

Just recently got an evade extender 3, divine blessing 1 with a lvl4 slot

On the first meld I did, I got Evade Extender 3, Recovery 2, 2 lv 2 slots and 1 lv 1 slot. I just stopped melding after that. As someone who slot evade extender on all my builds, this is probably the best I will ever get.

i got an Earplugs 3 2-2-0 r10 talisman. Paired with rathalos gauntlets... well thats the freest Roar immunity ive ever seen with AB4 as a bonus because of two attack decos.

I am curious if they ever fixed the save load exploit that was used in base rise. The only real way to make the system better is to increase the odds of getting a good one, but with all the skill variety, that doesn't seem feasible. Good work on another great video. Guess I'll have to go beat the final boss before I can upgrade my things. I bit annoyed about that, but mhe.

250 melds in and have scrapped every single one. Not a single Stam surge, constitution, WEX, crit boost, shot type up, nothing. Still using my talisman from base game

My best talisman has Lv2 evade exender and spiribirds call, A 2 slot and 1 Slot. Pretty good, I’ve been spending too long trying to get good talismans I’m just gonna roll with this one.

I nabbed an evade 2, flinch free 1. 3 slot snd 1 slot tali. As well as a wex 2 and 3- 1 slots. Pretty nice all rounders

I saw someone use a atk bst 3, tenderizer 2, 2 lvl2 slots and 1 lvl1 slot talisman

I got a redirection 2 with evade extender 1. With a lvl 2 slot and two 1 slots. Love melding in sunbreak so far XD

I thought i got something super fantastical at first with a const 2, evade extender 2 and 2 lv1 slots. Then i got an attack boost 3 lv4 talisman

my current charm has spirit birds call and 3 reload speed. So least I don't gotta waste any 1 slots with quickload for my coatings

Closing in on MR50 still using my base rise talisman with Slugger3, Protective Polish1, and 3,2,1 decoration slots for SnS. It would take a lot to make me replace that.

The best Talisman i got so far is a Slugger 3, Punishing Draw 2 with 3/1/1 slot. :D

Also regret holding on to the accelerants till master meld because I didn't have enough master rank materials to take advantage of the accelerant pool

i got a 5 slot talisman for my build pretty early, qs2 wirebugwhisper2, 2-0-0. been straight garbage ever since haha. i'll keep doing it (what else am i going to do with the parts), but not likely i'm going to find anything better for quite a long time. also, thank god they added the lock feature, was a nightmare before. i'm hoping they put in something like in base rise where you can select a skill that has a higher chance of appearing using parts of some endgame monster (maybe the last level of anomaly monsters, so you have some selection). not likely, but it would be nice just to tame that pure rng a little, particularly with so many modded talismans in the pc version.

My best talisman was rank 10 with recovery up 3, bug whisperer, with a 4 gem slot.

I'm still gonna meld but I doubt I'll get much of use. In base rise I got 2 fantastic talismans. One with 3 crit eye, a 3 slot and a 1 slot. The other(what I'm currently using) has 3 attack, a 2 slot and a 1 slot.

What I noticed is that 4 Slot are only on Rarity 10 talismans. And I have few of them with good Skills. And the one I'm using is 4 slot, Recovery Up 2, Spiritbird's Call And Slot 4 is great, as I can put there Bow Charge Plus, so I don't have to wear Mighty Bow Feather. And I can have good helmet with good skills

It's only mildly painful that I have yet to find a better longsword styled talisman than what I've had since like week 3 of Rise. Having 2 quicksheathe 2 speed eating and a 2-2-1 is just phenomenal for the build and let's me run some crazy shit armor wise. Although I've gotten an honorable mention of Foray 2 2-1-0 for my foray based LS build. I hope and pray for a foray quicksheath talisman

So far the best talisman I've gotten is from base rise and its a lvl 3 attack boost with no deco slots

High key, I will likely be using a mod for my PC playthough since talismans cause melding, even now, is straight garbage. I am also playing clean on Switch so I’m embracing the suck on that one. I’m HR 50 and my HR talisman is still clutch.

My best currently evade extender 2and wirebug whisperer 2, lv. 2 & lv1 slot.

As a long sword user the best talisman I got is 3 quick sheath and two power prolonger with 2 1 slots.

the fact my brothers talisman is likely still tied for the best one you can get/have is bonkers

Got a 2 WEX 2 Evade Extender, but no slots :( I'm sitll using it because it helps me hit 3 WEX easily, at the cost of a potential slot or two, but I'll take it. Am using it with the Kamura hammer, which has a 4/2 on it with a 2 Rampage Slot and it has purple sharpness. That weapon is so sneaky good.

HR mats don't work for MR melding. The only thing that carries over are friend vouchers.

the Arena quest with the espina did it for me just hit him an run away then he will do his charge attack and 1 hit you evry time

I need a talisman with 2 foray and two level 2 slots, so I'm probably in for a long ride.

I got a Level 3 crit eye with no slots. Likely going to mod mine honestly. They REALLY should have fixed this above palicos, as nice as those changes are.

I got Redirection 2, Spiritbird Call 1 with lv3 and lv1 slot… using Malzeno armor and hey… I am the three lords itself… Idk if this is amazing or ridiculous

I literally have the exact talisman redirection is so good! It's taking the place of recovery for me

I got one with Attack 3, Crit Eye 1 & then 2 level 1 slots on it I keep melding anyway but I don’t think I’m actually gonna top that

I saw that godroll partbreaker +3 with 2 lv 2 slots.

In the last three days, I have gotten two identical talismans. They both have Crit Eye 3 with a 4 slot

I have a rarity 7 talisman with 3 Crit eye 1 razor sharp and a 2 slot and I’m sitting here like man I wish any of these new talismans I keep getting was better than that but pretty much all of them have been worse than my best rarity 7 talismans

I still run a ratity 4 talisman that has 1 skills lv 2 hunger resist, and has a 2 and a 1 slot. So these tips will be invaluable

Lol my first mr meld was Crit eye 3 and a 4 slot. I am pretty happy with it... But I am still cant make the final boss gs. Why do I want finalboss gs isnt the kamura one better... Yes but I like the final boss 1 better cause I dont need handicraft it has higher raw it looks cool.

i mean there as a charm editor mod, that you can make/change charms to what you want. there's also a spreadsheet somewhere with the skill level limits for legal charms. i suppose some people would judge you, but the vast majority of people dont check what equipment others have, and if you dont tell them you modded it, they probably wont know. I really think you should just mod it, if you'll get more enjoyment out of it. you bought the game, you enjoy it how you want, just not at the expense of others. which is prevented by the game automatically checking for legal talismans, in this case

I feel like I have a bugged Talisman chart only bad talismans even got rarity 6 ones that are still better than any 8-10 rarity talisman I got till now had hopes for the fast option but bad luck strikes again

Okay now please correct me if I'm wrong... But these literally just sound like rarity seven talismans minus having the ability for having a tier 4 slot. In fact mostly all of the talismans I saw in the video were extremely on par with rarity 7s

I'm kinda thinking that they aren't ment to be a " better " version of already existing talismans; or if anything god roll 7s are only going to be outclassed by God roll 10s, but 8 or 9 might be on par. really need to wait and see what the data mine says but I'm thinking there's going to be a lot of people out there that just threw away old god roll 7s thinking they will be outpaced massively by just 8s or 9s.

@@benlarson6031 to me it's more like a gradient better, 7s where the best at like 8-10 quality, 8s are 9-11, 9s are 10-12, 10s are 11-12. That or the system is broken or incomplete.

@@benlarson6031 sorry, considering the system is complicated with how it weighs up each stat point or deco slot, thought that would be a simple and efficient explanation. So the better quality the more skill points, better skill type (defence boost

I personally am hesitant to spend everything on the melding. It is only up to rarity 10 currently I have a good hunch they are going to bump up to rarity 11 and then to 12 in the future updates.

Rarity 10 has always been the highest rarity (not counting Rarity X in Gen/GU) iirc

I was an idiot. A stupid stupid idiot. Started casually farming Talismans today and I got a Wex 2 Attack Boost 2 2 1 slot talisman. I was so excited but I was a fool. I wanted to save my Jelly. It was one of the first ones I got so I only needed to use a few pudding to get it so I reset to get it but i forgot to save before making the melds which put me in a different bracket. Now I'm just stewing in my foolish foolishness.

Guess, I can't run away from gatcha forever

Is anybody else struggling in sunbreak? Ive beaten the story and im going back and fighting some of the monsters I missed and im getting my butt handed to me. I have final full final boss armor maxed out and still get two shot by Zinorge. Another thing I see going on is the monsters will feint to the left or right or just jump behind me constantly.

That's G rank my dude - welcome to it. Prepare to get 2-3 shot for the rest of the game honestly unless you spec hard into defense boost. That's kinda the balancing factor for endgame as the builds start to be so good that it wouldn't be a challenge without some heavy damage coming your way.

Having a Level 7 defense boost (+4 and +3 jewels) with armour sat at around 124 rating each... I'm taking around 4+ hits from monsters general attacks. Problem is, that's 2 slots used on defense and not on things like Crit Eye. Stronger hits like Malzeno's tail stab can still chunk me for 65% though, so unless you go full defensive builds then you better be good at staying away from a monsters hit zones in MR ☠️ If you're getting your butt handed to you, it might be worthwhile sitting back and letting a monster swing at you for a while. Especially in MR, monsters you're used to will have bonus attacks or combo designed to catch you off guard. So spending a couple hunts just dodging a monster and finding safe spots, can let you play more aggressively when you're comfortable with them.... that's, if you have the patience of course 😬

This is the main thing i disliked about rise was it reverting back to 1/4000 billion chance for a melded charm thats really good. If anything they need to ditch this meld mechanic. Melding decorations was rng but had a smaller pool and doesn't have the randomized variation of skills/ level of skill , number of slots that charms has. At least a decoration is fixed skills and the rng pool seems smaller. This is what kills end game for me. Being more in control of crafting the charm was better and you target specific monsters even if it was a rare drop monster part it WILL eventually drop to get what you want.

Anima has gotten me consistently terrible talismans only. Wisp is way better for some reason. Feels like the only slap in the face on Sunbreak. Reminds me of the worst aspects of World.

Talismans aren't any better in Sunbreak as they were base MHR
