Sun Visor and Deflector Fail

This was a big disappointment. The product is OK-ish, but the customer service totally sucks and the shipping price was DOUBLED after they processed payment, demanding an additional $102 or process a refund that could take 30 days ...and likely forgotten. I'm waiting to see if I can get used to the added wind noise before I take it off my van. I'm still undecided, but may remove it before fixing the scratched paint. We'll see how it goes with the next few drives then if I remove it there will be another video.

I fully understand your frustration, but I still like it. At least sitting still. Not sure how I would like it driving down the road. I had an Econoline back in the day with the visor and ground effects. So I like that look.
I am looking forward to seeing the install of the white one. I have been thinking about a visor.

Hi I'm in UK (England) & have a similar visor from a different company that came with a Sprinter that was being cut up for Fire brigade training It had rivnuts fitted into the van A pillar on the viewable portion of the brackets as well as ones hidden in the door closure panel Makes the visor much more stable and very little vibrations if you keep under speed limit 😁drove it for 40 miles before stripping it out I'll check what company it's from & whether still going & post here Made from heavy duty thermoplastic with metal bar underneath similar to yours but it's very lightweight so bar might be Aluminium Thanks for all the great videos 👍🏻🙏🏻😁
Being in the extreme south the humidity would rust stain every screw and bracket on my sprinter.. All though the additions are a great Idea I feel the RanD part of the design was not well established before production. Even if it was a perfect fit the screw and bracket stains would soon appear. Thanks for taking one for the team.🤣
MY MATES GOT AN OBSESSION WITH THESE, EVERY TRUCK WE HAVE HAS TO HAVE THEM ON.... THE TOP BROW I WELD ON... U CAN BARE SOME METAL WITH A GRINDER ALL ROUND THE BRACKET, AND THEN ON THE WINDOW FRAME, REMOVE THE DOOR RUBBER A BIT, AND THEN WELD HER ON BOTH SIDES..... DO MAKE SURE U HAVE 2 PPL TO HOLD IT WHILE U MAKE SURE ITS IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND MARK IT BEFORE WELDING. THEN JUST THROW IN SOME TIGER SEAL OVER THE WELD, AND RATTLE CAN TO FINISH... NO MORE FLAPPEY BROW.

Lease look into ceramic coatings for your windows. The product goes on like a clear window tint but reflects 50% of the heat energy from the sun. Didnt belive it till i rolled down my budys window and stuck my arm out side to feel the burn of direct sunlike comparied to the ceramic film. Worth every penny sorry every nickle we dont have those anymore. FJT
