Adam reminds me a lot of my own childhood. Growing up in the 70's and 80's, Godzilla was on the 4 o'clock after school movie. Wednesdays were the monster movie days and it was usually either Godzilla or Gamera every week. Was the highpoint of the entire school week, even moreso than the weekends. I really like this guy and his iterations of the Monster-verse are top shelf.

some Fords and trucks and cars used to have a split oil pan, I was a mechanic for 45 years that's how I ended up and get tore up my body and you still love it

Kubota has a split pan also.

On changing the fuel filter, make sure the tank is mostly empty,. Then you can hook up a shopvac to the fuller hole and make a negative vacuum pressure in the tank .

I've got you all prepared to change some tractor oil now!!! Thanks for watching.

I just finished my 50 hour Summit maintenance. I see that you left out kicking the wrenches, actually removing the hydraulic fluid drain bolts, and that the owners manual is worthless. One of my fuid drain bolts came cross threaded. I guess that you had to do the air filter and front axle another day. There was the same fine iron dust on the magnetic strainer as the magnets on the drain plugs. A strap type filter wrench with a breaker bar and extension works on the oil filter. My tractor also came with a leak in the fuel line, unremovable crud on the dash, and the mess that comes with too much beet juice in the tires. Rome.

the strainer filter collects dirt and larger metal particles in the oil!

It's like a pre-strainer before the filter but Kubota and JD don't have that??!!

I like to change as soon as possible so i know what fluids are in there. I dont always feel like the manufacturer is putting the best fluids in them.

Screw driver used that way, way to often. You are showing your age with water pump pliers. Have you ever tightened the packing nut on your water pump?

No, but there are packing nuts on the outdoor house bibs! Dad called them water pumps so it stuck with me.

Brave brave man. Using tractor supply hyd fluid. I lost the hydraulic pump on a Kubota l3410d a ford 4000 and an 841 ford by using their fluid. After that and the class action lawsuit, im leery of anything other than fluid from the dealers.

It meets Summit's recommendations for dinosaur oil. Kubota HST transmissions require synthetic transmission fluid (Super UDT)

These tractors are the worst for maintenance. They did not need to build it this way, but they did.
