We just finished a barn build and within a month realized it’s too small. Love seeing the box blade/plane. Cheaper to change the package now then adding on later. Good luck.

Hi Brad and Deb, Your shed site is looking good and it's fun watching the progress. Two years ago, I built a 34'x22'x12' barn with three garage doors (two on one end, one on the other end) (concrete floor). It was all I could afford at the time. Well, you guessed it, it's packed, much too small. Good luck my friends!

I just viewed your videos for the first time. I am now a subscriber. The video I saw was the one where you ran in to trouble not being able to build your new house. I am a township chairman in western Wisconsin. In our town we have our own zoning. In an ag district our zoning only allows 1 residential building per 40 acres. Granted we are in an actual working the land ag zoning so as to preserve the productive farm land. We run into some of the same problems you all are talking about but you are so right to check all county and local zoning regulations.

I did construction as a job, and can tell you that when building the size will look to be the wrong size in steps of the process. It will look small at the start then big as you start the frame the small, until the building is framed. Had customers say it looks smaller than the plans! the a few weeks later go wow it looks big. Its just a optical trick of the eyes. Also great job and hope your issues with the building code people with your house gets taken care of to your soon and its is what you want. God Bless you all.

@@PineyGroveHomestead I liked it, you both were present, interacting, and getting the ground ready for the pole barn. I was going to say I agree with Deb, the pole barn will probably need to be bigger. But I saw your point, that's all the space you have there, and also the money available. I think you know it is small for you, but now it is done, the pole barn is bought. After all, you like heavy machinery. I'm more concerned about your house built. That tea tax wasn't that bad after all. Laws now on land you bought and even pay taxes on every year, they still tell you what you can or cannot do in your land. Like I said, the tea tax doesn't seem like it was that bad after all, now. Edit: please don't think I rather be British. No way, no how.
