I love fall and Christmas…I love giving gifts and making others happy, it’s my love language…I live in the south so I happy to get a break from the heat and humidity in the fall.

I love summer for all the activities and just being able to be more laid back with everything! But I love the nostalgia and feel of fall! 😍 I feel ya on the dishes and laundry, it never ends! I just cleaned my kids playroom and it's already almost back to it's original state! It's one of those chores that feels like a revolving door!

Where to start (I started decluttering when I was pregnant with my 3rd-now have 5), get rid of whole categories. So I started with toy kitchen, then dolls, then action figures, then put away all books except for 5 books each kids, then lincoln logs, etc. The kids never even play with any of their toys, they prefer to build forts with blankets, play on their bikes, etc. Best decision ever was to keep decluttering. Watch the minimal mom for tips! And I love crazy cleaning mama for motivation. My kids have never been happier, having literally barely any toys, they use their imagination instead ♡ what we have left, fidgets, balls, shape matching block for my young ones, and I have put away animal figures, trains and barbies (but may declutter them since they haven't even asked about them since putting them away. They spend their days making fort blankets, playing with each other, doing the scratch books, reading, playing outside, etc.

Hello there! Just a suggestion for organizing toys and helping kiddos know where to put them… we bought a toy organizer and we print big stickers with a picture of what goes into each bin you could also cut pictures out of magazines and tape the pictures onto each bin with clear tape.. it teaches them from a young age how to organize.. Btw thank you for your videos they are very motivating! I get a lot done putting on one of your videos 😊

An idea for the playroom - I would get rid of the play kitchen and cash register. Kids can make believe/turn anything into a kitchen and store and those items take up so much space with only 1 function. With those gone, you would have room to put the fun climbing stuff in a permanent spot and get storage cubes like in their bedroom closet to organize the toys really well.

Hi Becky, I knew when I saw your Meijer bags that you must live near me. I live near Grand Blanc. i so love Michigan and especially the fall season. I must say sweet Hazel is such a natural at folding. You are certainly a great teacher. I had all boys but they had to learn how to do their laundry and cook. I can see now that they all love to cook and are very helpful around the house too. All my grand kids live out of State so I am the Michigan grandma. I love your videos and binge watched them all. I am with you to decluttering for August. I have already downsized but still need to do more. I was thinking something like Intentional inventory as something positive instead of declutter but whatever we call it is what I need.

idk if this will help but it helps me a little. I store most of my kids toys in my small crowded closet, then I have one basket for him that he can play with then when the week is over I put those away then take different toys out
