Baked sweet potatoes are awesome. However, young sweet potato greens are also tasty. It is just another way to get more food out of your growing space.

Better than mine this year. I dug up a small section and they were all so tiny, like fingerlings. Giving the rest an extra month this year 😢

I planted the slips in Jan. and this is my second harvest, about 7 months. The first try was more so fingerling potatoes, harvesting after 3/4 months. Also, Summer is our rainy season here in Fl so that probably helped as well. I planted more slips in the ground in May so I am wondering if those may not take as long since they have a consistent source of water.

Can’t see what you’re doing while harvesting
