This looks exactly how I my mother made squash casserole. I am going to make this for my family for dinner. I will use zucchini instead since I have a lot of that vegetable. Thank you for sharing. I am from Charlotte, NC and this dish rings home to me. Your children are adorable.

I agree with Jordan; it’s good, but then it does have cheese in it! I’m glad your children seem to like it. I’ll have to try it, my squash casserole is much more simplistic; just squash, onions, and cheese. ✌🏼❤️

I used can squash sour cream cook onions until clear melt hold stick butter use half to cook onion and use other half melted in mixture. Can of cream of chicken. Half cup cheese in mixture. Pepper age farm small crusted bread crumbs mix all together cook then when almost done put rest of cheese spread around on top until it melts to the point you want it. Takes about 45 minutes or longer until done. This is a little different if you want to try it. I would like to try yours also but I will do cream of chicken instead

You gotta try the squash and zucchini casserole it’s soooo good. It won’t turn out too watery as you may think. I’ve had it with potatoes and onions inside of it with extra cheese it’s sooooo good!!! My godsisters mama makes it and I fellll in love with it!

I want it to be identified as my channels music even though it’s commonly used on the iMovie editing app. Some hate it but most comments have been positive. Thanks for watching my video. Hey Gurl. I love squash casserole but seemingly only see it on menus in the south. Didn't have enuff crackers so wat did I do..... crushed up cheerios. Perfect! Like most dishes, this was trial & error as well. Next time there will be another alternative. Thank you much. Peace

I like to cut yellow squash into matchsticks and serve it with ranch dressing as a dip!

I'm weird! 😉😉 I love ZUCCHINI, especially fried! BUT, I don't particularly care much for summer squash. I enjoy them best TOGETHER with onions!! 😋😋

I would steam them since the squash is already laden with water. I like your recipe tho'.

Reminds me of my moms. She added pepperidge farm seasoned stuffing crumbs. As usual your dramatic child in the middle doesn't like it. She sounds like a hard one to please. There always at least one in every family. 😋

Yes but they serve different purposes when using them to cook. Raw eggs will bond the food together but the Mayo gives food a lift. Makes my cornbread rise higher and have a lighter texture. Does the same for my macaroni and cheese. If I don’t use it I can see and taste the difference.
