Made it and ate so much I got sick to my stomach. Only thing I modified to make it my own was some (approx ¹/2cup) pepperidge farm herb seasoned stuffing crumbs. Man oh man! 😋😋😋

My husband and I are truck drivers going to borrow this recipe for the crockpot looks delicious. We have made a dish similar but we use cauliflower and I add in a bit of cream cheese in addition to the cheddar sometimes bacon pieces to get a creamy texture it's delicious and when the cauliflower is soft you don't miss the pasta we call it Mac and cheese cause that's the look and flavor you get but it's healthier for us because we can't eat pasta. Anyhow we will let you know how it comes out of the crockpot.

@@RollingWithThePhamSo we made it in the crockpot for dinner last my husband loved it. Because we cook and prepare everything from the front seat of the truck I decided to go with frozen cut yellow squash layered in the chopped onions butter slices or cream cheese and cheddar cheese the dish was the perfect compliment to the mustard and brown sugar glazed ribs. I cooked the cheesy squash on high for an hour and a half in the crockpot. I believe an hour would have been fine for frozen squash and it may take an hour and a half for the same dish with fresh. Thanks for your inspiration 🙂

I tried this recipe and it was delicious. I do not eat onion so I left it out but since my husband is Mexican and I also like Heat I cut up jalapeño and sautéed it with the squash, gave it a little kick

I made this a week ago. It's Perfect for yellow summer squash.

I used to make this dish for my grandson and he loved it. He's a grown man now and he's always asking me to make it again. This recipe reminds me of how I used to make it so I'm going to make a whole aluminum foil pan for him. Thanks for posting this video.

Squash makes a great no carb pasta substitute. All natural not processed, refined or bleached like most pasta. It's also easy grow. Seeds cost $0.20 at Walmart.

My mom always sent me out of the kitchen when I was little, had to laugh! But when that toddler is old enough, you best teach her!
