Night fishing in my pond from either the little jon boat, or even from the bank, is my all-time FAVORITE type of bass fishing in the summer. Can do so literally all night.

I have a trick that had success lately. I have had so many northern cut my line throwing the jack hammers that I have a thin leader(Toothy Critters line) that you can tie a knot to the lure. I dont use it in broad day light but in low light and at night I have as much action as without the wire line. Rio also makes a tieable line. I havent lost a jack hammer since!!! At 17 bucks a pop for the jack hammer it has really paid of for me!

I'm telling ya the freaks come out at night especially during the dog days of summer when it's really hot. It feels like at least at my lake I fish a different caliber of fish bite at night like as soon as the lights turn off it turns on!

No I was fishing it under the water!! A jackhammer or a clickbait 🙌🏻

Night time is about the only time i can find to actually get up and get out to the water! Itll usually start about 11am with all intentions to be out the door n on the road within the next 2hrs. But EVERY time, ill end up procrastinating all the way to about 10pm, when i finally have a open window of time. Idk wtf is wrong
