HUTCHfromBA Agreed! It's so useful and sounds awesome. Better than a Fulldrive imho. Stick a booster on there and you've got gain stacking galore
the Dual sounds like the first channel is the clipping board out of the Drive, and channel two gets its sound out of the Dist...perfect, my 2 favorites in one!

I really like the sound of that drive. Plus I'm amazed to finally see a pedal including the name "Metal" that doesn't sound like shit! Might have to get one of those drives.
Am i the only one who thinks that steve looks like Lars Ulrich.
The DIST pedal reminds me of a Mad Professor Mighty Red (not the handwired version). Ill be looking to demo it in my area for sure. Thanks PG for doing this interview :)
So stoked on this! I have an ht boost which I absolutely love but it takes up too much valuable space, so I reluctantly removed it from my board. For 79 bucks I am totally all over this boost!!!!!

the lt drive does tube screamer all the way to Marshall 800.
I have a Blackstar and the ISF makes a massive difference in tone and response...

Finally stupid Blackstar got rid of the stupid valves that was just stupid buffer and made the pedal stupidly expensive...
I just purchased the Dual Distortion on Reverb. What a killer pedal and still inexpensive. I kicked myself for selling my Drive pedal last year and this makes up for that idiocy.
Blackstar have amazing products but I think they did a bad thing here by making these affordable pedals. Instead of improving the HT pedals and making them more compact, they decided to make a cheaper version of those pedals. As they did with the amps (id series), they're doing the same thing with their pedals.
To me the boost sounds like an overdrive and the overdrive sounds like a distortion pedal.It's probably just me.Oh well....

they dont have anything exciting really.. They use Kempler Profile amps into the soundbooth so...
Shit , here comes BLACKSTAR whit their new more affordable line of shit , PLEASE STOP DOING AFFORDABLE LINES , INSTEAD DO BETTER PRODUCTS.
