Every day this week is in the 90s, definitely no wool for me!
I love this! I have been living a vegan lifestyle for 20 years, mostly for environmental reasons but also ethical, and been doing fiber art (lika sewing and knitting) for equally long time. Its hard since cotton and linen isnt warming and i dont want to use plastic yarn. This has led to me using wool yarns, since i feel its the lesser of two evils. I just make sure to buy it second hand or the most ethically produced yarns i can find.

I'm on the other side of the beltway and zoinks 😢was June hot. I cracked up at your comments about being 43. This is my first summer as a confident knitter and I'm really trying to decide if I'd actually wear something like the patterns you showed.

Sometimes it takes time to find your style groove. I've definitely knit a few things I thought I would wear and then ... not so much.
Summer knits, so tempting, but so problematic, right? I am going to use berroco Remix for my Kylie top, don’t be fooled by its description as an Aran yarn, it’s a light worsted. Berroco is notorious for their loopy yarn weights. I’m currently knitting the Pyramid light in remix light which knits up as a fingering. Love your podcast!
