I live below Yosemite at 3k elevation, and it gets hot in the Summer, so the best getaways are the cooler climes above Yosemite at around 9k.

I live in South Africa, in a very tiny town on a beautiful farm. My family only eats vegetables that they grow themselves. It's very peaceful out here. 😊

Welcome home. We are exploring Vermont this summer and tomorrow we are hoping to see there turtles coming out to lay their eggs around the area. But not too close! Discovering great musicians and farm stands. I am feeling that next year I would like to be more in the mountains than in lake country. Different vibe.

Watching this refreshed my soul. 🌲🌱 Thank you for another content, Kate! This vlog made me realize how much I also yearn to connect with nature. And our natural surroundings. Literally... to just connect with life. All my life I grew up in Manila, a very busy city where everything seems... overwhelming and fast-paced. After watching this, I felt something inside me lacks. And that is because I never truly experienced going out to new places, planting trees, or to just breathe the warm air of nature. How I hope I get to travel soon and do these things, too. They were sooo cute! I was trying to just do a little hop over them haha because they were literally ALL along the shoreline. Like this video doesn't even capture how many there were that morning... it must have been around 5k, I've never seen that many!

This video was a breathe of fresh air for me. I grew up on the east coast with the lush greenery and recently moved to Arizona (the complete opposite). I'm slowly learning to embrace the nature here too, but nothing beats the mountain forests. Do you have any ideas for a nature place for peace in a desert?

Thank you so much for your kind words and for watching, sweet soul! I LOVE the desert, it has such a unique beauty! My father and I hiked Grand Canyon a few years back, and it had been a long-time dream of ours. I would recommend perhaps finding some hikes, trails, or state/national parks nearby where you live, and just do some exploring.🌻💛

This is sooooo beautiful!!! Thank you Kate! My fave place to go for the summer: to the Hills over the biggest lake in Hungary (called Balaton). My grandparents have a tiny cottage there near wine yards and a forest. When I was a kid I was non-stop there. Now that I am an adult, I can go there alone (coolest thing when you are used to being a kid and needing supervision). Now I can just go there and chill, and since a year I am bringing my husband there too. He loves it.
