I have three children and for some reason, acquaintances always think I have two. My third was a surprise for my 40th year. Ironically, my middle child, the one girl I have is the one coworkers, etc are oblivious of! 🙄 Thank you for sharing all the dresses! I need more!

I love skorts! I just ordered me a couple of them in black & sand on clearance. I use to wear as a child in the 60’s. Plus they look good to golf in with a polo.

YES!! Another great video. I just wanted to tell you about that rattan bag from Amazon that has the leather square sewn on the front. I bought that last year and it is a WINNER!! The square on the front is only sewn on the top and bottom, and what I do is slip a scarf through and tie it on the outside for a cool look. I get so many compliments on that purse, particularly with the scarf.

Dear Serena, what a great video, I loved loved all the outfits except the green printed dress (something about the belt) and the black dress (maybe the skirt looks to heavy with the tank top?). I find the « at leisure » clothing very practical for more active days and day hikes. Congratulations for your three beautiful children. I had my one child at 39. I think that today with people being healthy and active longer, many women choose to have their children in their late 30 and early 40. Thanks again for all those great outfits.

Think you are correct: without a belt looks best (and I will remember for myself too). LOVE the athleisure wear. Plan to retire in about 3 years and I'm buying more athleisure wear because that is the very casual life I will be living: walk, go to gym, tennis, travel, hike, etc. The majority of my retirement will be in athleisure wear. Plan to be very active retiree: my clothes need to be comfortable so I can go, go, go :)

Great video. I enjoy watching yours as you are "real" and honest in your reviews. You asked for what we thought on the belt or no belt on the shorts. My personal opinion is no belt or maybe an off white colored belt, though the tan looked good, too. All the outfits were so cute, and as soon as I saw the Air Essential outfit, I thought it looked very flattering on you.

I really liked that you gave some of the prices on the clothing. It also liked you telling how they wash and dry. Could you add possibly how long the fabric has lasted for you with laundering it? I don’t mind spending more if the clothes are going to last.

I bought the blue and white striped poplin dress from the free assembly label at Walmart. I just love it. I wear it with a straw/rattan belt and sometimes with a powder blue short jacket.

I don't own a slip. I try to find dresses & skirts that are lined or are thick enough material that you don't need one. I only wear bike shorts with short dresses to protect me against gusts of wind that might bare my bloomers!

I have similar fit issues as you, because my waist measurement is not much different than my hips. I feel the same as you do about belts. Anyway, I love your content! You have a beautiful family. ❤

I also have issues with Spanx. I love the fabrics but the sizing is crazy. I have size small to 1 item in an XL. When items go on sale it’s usually a final sale so you’re rolling the dice or skipping the item. Dillards used to carry quite a few items so you could try them on but they don’t have the selection anymore. I also agree beyond yoga is worth the price. Great video!!

I knew there was a reason I feel like I relate to you. I had my last son at age 44. Unplanned, a complete shock. Since then, I upped my fashion game not wanting to look old and frumpy around the other much younger moms. Thanks for keeping me looking young!

I agree about the inconsistency issue with the sizing of Spanx products. I also find their pants, including Air Essentials, are short in the crotch. I’m 5’7” and average build. I’m done with Spanx. I end up sending almost everything back.

Do not wear a contrasting color belt unless you have a small waist. Your eye just goes there because of the color contrast.

I also had my son at 43 he's mow 32 and he is the boy with 4 sisters so am elated. We women are blessed ❤
