The tension rises even more between father and son on the Magnificent Century! As everyone gets worried for Mustafa, he doesn't bows his head. Suleiman threatens Mustafa! Mustafa walks in the guild of janisarries holding a death warrant.
Hurrem and Mustafa draw their battle lines. As Suleiman fights with his suspicions, one more difficult test awaits Mustafa.
Just as everything has settled down in the palace, everyone starts to wait in curiosity that Nazenin is giving birth. Is a new prince coming in the palace?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

I think it would have been way better to of had Fatma and Hürrem as friends rather than enemies. I don't know why they insisted with the same old story line over and over. The plot could use some variety to it, some humour.

well most women even in those times had the insticnt of survival and knew that men can change their emotions with every new young face so to keep themselves secure and alive and in power they would do whatever means nessary and not just rely on a one sided emotion when you knew your so called husband can throw you out for another young new face who can give birth to his heirs

I have no idea why but every time i see Fatma, i immediately think about the Sea and Mermaids. She's got such a unique and natural beauty, especially when she smiles and laughs. I think of a beautiful mermaid princess. Is that weird or does any one else see the same as i do...?

When Hurrem went through menopause, and couldn't give Suleiman any more children, she had to allow him to take concubines to him. She didn't like it one bit, but she accepted that she couldn't prevent it. I think she behaved well, considering that her heart was breaking.
