Prince Cihangir gets in bed to die!
Cihangir grieves for Mustafa and gets off his feed. Suleiman struggles desperately for his son. Hurrem gets worried about Cihangir. Bayezid's anger for his mother doesn't cool off. Rustem gets worried for his life and his fears come true. One of Mustafa's friends goes back to the capital to take his revenge. He surrounds Rustem's palace with the revolters. Bayezid saves Mihrimah and Rustem. As Cihangir's clamours surround the whole camp, Suleiman puts out of his misery. Hurrem and Suleiman gets tested with the grief of losing a child. As Hurrem gets devastated byy Cihangir's death, Suleiman tries to heal his soul. A bitter fight starts between Hurrem's two living sons to be able to ascend the throne.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

This seen shows the desperation,sorrow,fight for survival,determination to survive and the regrett each of this carecters had,liveing in the harem was a complex game of survival that took a massive mental toll on everyone
Never liked Nubanu......she caused Bayezid's wifes death...then ordered her servant to take the ring from Hurrem's finger when she died, for herself. She complained about Selim's drinking...yet if she wanted information, etc. she would bring him wine....knowing he would keep drinking till drunk. She was so eager for Selim to take the throne, but for her gain...therefore she kept things stirred up with Selim and Bayezid.

Real nurbanu never did that. Also what we saw here is impossible, no one would do that on hurrem sultan lol the series shouldn't have done that, no one absolutely would follow such an order

Yes, however many say that she was good just like Hurrem. The only thing I can say is that Beyazid and Cihangir were as tolerant they could, concerning their mother, who was a witch who had killed many innocent people, Ibrahim Pasha and now Mustafa and Cihangir, from the other Syleiman who killed even his children and Ibrahim Pasha for power. They now attack God, saying that he is responsible for these deaths, but they know that they are the ones who made this to themselves, not Mustafa, Ibrahim, Mahidevran or Cihangir. They just died in vain, because or their own stupidity. Now, concerning Nurbany, she was arrogant, because she was Selim's wife, so not wonder why she was acting so arrogant. They now all blame Mahidevran, but it wasn't like this. Their ambition and arrogance was their end and destruction, Mahidevran and Mustafa had no fault concerning their ambition and the evil that the had in their hearts. In the end, they drowned in the blood that they spilled.
Strange....nobody is talking about shezade Mehmet....he died first!! So Bayezid, Selim and Mihrimah buried 3!!! siblings, not only 2!
This is the first time I've heard anyone blame Suleiman. They always blame Hurrem. By the way, all those candles next to the books and papers give me major anxiety. 😂😂😂
So, here's what i don't understand. (1) Hurrem had the most to loose by having multiple sons/chuldren with the Emperor. (2) Mahi struck first when she killed Mehmet, so she had to know that retribution was coming (3) The Emperor gave Mustafa SEVERAL chances. Yes, Hurrem framing him was the final nail in his coffin, but the Emperor told him, he needed to stop making mistakes/acting like the Emperor. What made Suleiman different (when it came to his recklessleness & marry Hurrem) was that he was the EMPEROR. Mustafa knew that Prince's were forbidden to marry. Selim (although he loved Nurbanu, didn't marry her until AFTER he became Emperor. Bayezid (in the show at least) married his cousin and almost lost his head for it. The power is different with the Emperor vs a Prince. An Emperor answers to no one.

Mahidevran knew very well, that Hurrem is dangerous. She finished Ibrahim already - yes, he finished himself, but they all blamed Hurrem. So why she thought, she can win with her?

In history shahzade mehmet got chicken pox that's why he died secondly he was not even an adult as shown in series when he died so that's why nobody talks about him

I"m guessing Sueliman did not know Mahadevrin and Mustafa's wife were there....given the circumstances, he would not have trusted either. (plot, revenge, upset etc._ ) many wondered and questioned their coming. To me, Mahadevrin played a part in Mustafa's death...remember when everyone thought Sueliman was dying...and Mustafa was going to immediately go to the throne ? Remember it was her telling Mustafa he needed to kill his brothers...and Mustaga said...no, he would not....he would send them different places to rule, and they would live ? And it all started when he was little. When they came to the palace...Mustafa was sassy, arrogant, bossing people around, even saying it was his palace, and the grandmother (Sueliman's mother) scolded Mahadevrin for his behavior. Yes, he mellowed in time, but she kept working on him. After Mustafa's death, Sueliman found out from others Mahadevrin had sent from her own wealth money for Mustafa's troops....and Sueliman cut off her monthly pension she had been graciously given. Sueliman would never have taken Mustafa's life for no reason, or without certain proof of his rebellion against his throne. Therefore, and being a prince...only Sueliman could give an execution order of such magnitude for the death....yet Hurrem got the blame for it all, including the death of Mustafa's little son....which once again only Sueliman could order. Love this story...good job writers.

She is not the Valide. A Valide Sultán Is the mother of the current sultan. Suleiman's Valide was Hafsa. Hurrem was the harem director. But didn't have the real extent of the Valide's Powers. Nor Mihrimah had in Selim's reign.

All characters and drama aside , I always found it sad how the strong characters were treated like they don't get to be sick or sad and just take time for themselves away from being all strong and mighty
“You cannot talk about a member of the dynasty like that” mhm sure, yet Hürrem is also a member of said dynasty and they still plot to end her.

Bayezid was a kind of fool to not get along with his own brother and love Mustafa more
I wished the subtitles were there when Mihrunisa spoke to Hurrem. So many words spoken but only 3 lines of subtitle. I wished to know her last words....

And first, Suleiman wasn't going to do It. But Hurrem sent him a letter,telling him the poor boy was too dangerous to be kept alive. Curiously, Selim did the same with Bayezid's children.
