Suleiman calls Mustafa to the capital and makes a heavy decision about him. While Mustafa gets disappointed, Mehmet sees his way to the throne. This drives a wedge between two brothers. As Hurrem celebrates her victory, Mahidevran summons up her courage for her son. Suleiman sets off to Buda for a campaign with Mehmet but Mustafa stays in the capital. Hurrem sets off with a sudden decision because of the news she has received. Suleiman returns to the capital and faces with a truth that has shocked him.
Suleiman charges Barbarossa that he will bring Mustafa to the capital. As everyone worries about Mustafa's future, Hurrem and Rustem walk in the air.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

It was such an end of era though 😢 She was thf sister with the biggest and longest role. Her character development was long. From calm and loving to toxicly depressed and revenge thirsty.

I’ll never understand what she meant. How did Hurrem take your brother from you. Your husband being executed was his own doing. It had nothing to do with Hurrem.

deep-seated pride that does not allow you to admit that you or your loved one are to blame, therefore subconsciously looking for someone on whom you can blame all your mistakes, just so as not to admit to yourself that you yourself were mistaken.

Even from beyond the grave, Ibrahim couldn’t stop ruining the lives of everyone else. Hatice was so innocent and kind when she fell in love with him, but by the time of his death he had corrupted her with his toxic thoughts and dreams of power…so sad. Poor Suleyman. Treacherous times

The white dress is an undergarment that was worn by women in the Ottoman Empire and eventually worldwide. Women dressed in layers so that they might be able to shed some clothing or put some on depending on the temperature of the day.

If Suleiman had taken Hatece's warning seriously, he wouldn't have killed Mustafa, wouldn't have caused so much grief to his children with Hurrem, and his family wouldn't have disintegrated.
