Hürrem can't believe that Mahidevran was in coitus with Suleiman. She faces up with İbrahim Pasha and she threatens him. Meanwhile, Mahidevran becomes very happy that she was in coitus but Sultan Suleiman surprises Mahidevran with his attitude.
İbrahim Pasha can't take the risk living away from Hatice. He leaves two letters behind and palace and goes back to his homeland Parga.
Mahidevran comes out of the coitus and talks around that she had a beautiful night. Hürrem can't control her anger when Hürrem hears her and goes to see Suleiman at her first chance. Will she tell him that İbrahim and Hatice love each other?
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Very brave move, who would give up the highest position a non dynasty member can get, for love. Ibrahim and Hatice were my favourite couple at the beginning, I wish the writers didn't ruin their relationship in later seasons

I also think that it would've been hard to hate Ibrahim as an adversary to Hurrem had they not trashed his character.

11:35 Pretty much the only time Suleiman got visibly angry at Hürrem, and what acting from Suleiman! It even got me frozen in my tracks 🥶

Although Ibrahim's actions were technically treason, I can't help but sympathise for him, for wanting to go back to his home and see his family again. His scenes with his family are very enjoyable for me

I want everyone who said that Hurrem is a bad mother for forcing Mirihmah to marry Rustem to say the same about Valide.Did Valide ask Hatice her opinion on the marrige?NO SHE DID NOT.Valide just told her daughter that she and the sultan deemed this random guy Hatice never met appropriate to be her husband and Hatice had no choice But to accept. No one,not Valide nor Sultan Süleyman,bothered to ask If she wants to marry,because this is how it was done at that time. Also,Hurrem forced Mirihmah to marry in order to protect her sons,not just for the sake of power alone.Valide did not have this reason,as her son was already on the throne.She just did not think that Hatice’s opinion in this matter is relevant. Plus,Mirihmah was luckier than Hatice,because while Hurrem was pushing for this marriage,Süleyman refused to allow it until Mirihmah gaved her blessing. If Mirihmah did not let her emotions and wounded pride get the best of her,she would not have married Rustem,because Süleyman,who had the final word on that matter,as her father and sultan,would not have allowed it. But sure,Hurrem is the only one who made her daughter marry against her will or without asking her opinion about it.
