The feeling of impotence Yuji must've felt seeing Shibuya devastated... and we know from the past season how he puts all the blame on himself. Megumi asked Nobara not to tell him about Sukuna's fingers being related to more cursed spirits showing up because he knew Yuji would react like that was his fault... and then this happens. This episode had an amazing fight. I have no words to describe how much I appreciate the animator's work on that. But that last scene was what I've been wanting to see since the beginning of this arc. They did an amazing job on that.

Alot of people pissed about the music choice at the end but for me it was perfect, its like the music was taunting him and ive never seen anything like that ever before

@@Animelon that’s understandable alot of people were probably sad but for me it made that scene one of my favourites in the entire show, I couldn’t stop replaying it the arc is so dark that even the ost is mocking yuji

This fight is basically like Superman vs Doomsday

Check out the blu ray edition of this fight! It's the true vision of how the director wanted that fight to go, yknow the 30%. It has some scenes redone and completed and of course a whole bunch of additional scenes of this fight as well as a fully new one that didn't make it to the TV version. It starts after Sukuna cuts of Mahoraga's feet and swipes it away as the foot was flying towards his direction.

and like that, all of the higher ups are proven right. Yuji is too dangerous to be kept alive.

A rollercoaster of emotions with this. From being amazed with the fight itself to then diving to rock bottom to seeing Yuji take all this in. Sukuna is definitely the worst person to share a body with. Sukuna meant what he said to Yuji at the end of season saying "people are gonna die because you live"

Sukuna deliberately walked to the scene of the crime knowing Yuchi was about to wake up

Yuji thinks that Sukuna is at fault, but the situation would have been much worse if Sukuna had not come out.

I really like how she values Yuji's feelings. Most people just forgot that because many characters in this show overlap with him. I'm more of a Yuta fan myself, but the VA cooked with just the few lines. The "Right now!" messed with me.

Sukuna is fucked up for leaving megumi and then going back to the site for Yuji to watch

Makora is the true name for the shikigami. Manga translated it to english as Mahoraga, but that's a mistranslation. Cleave and Dismantle are also not cleave and dismantle. Kai (translated as Dismantle in the manga) means to 'split open', and Hachi (translated as Cleave in the manga) roughly means to 'chop' or 'dice'

I appreciated how you showed consideration for Yuji. A lot of people just don't understand the emotional impact this had on Yuji, when i read this Scene in Manga, these scene hit me really hard. Anime playing the Opening over it, it just ruins that impact.

There is so much to unpack in this episode. That shikigami has never been tamed and even killed a man with the same techniques as Gojo. All the collateral damage reminds me of the movie Akira. This very moment was teased the first time we saw sukuna but it still surprising to see that was a chekov's gun and not just basic villain talk. I've said it a thousand times there are a ton of MC's who's powerbase is supposed to be evil/a curse but the story never follows through with it. Only telling us about the bad side while only ever showing us the good side. I could go on about Gojo's plans being too self reliant but I don't know if he ever had a choice. The catalyst for these events were the other special grade curses, not sukuna himself. Nobody knew about meat puppet Geto and Megumi could have released that shikigami any time he was backed into a corner. It was the very technique the story have been teasing all this time. A power guaranteed to kill himself and his opponent. But Gojo wanted more sorcerers as strong as him and probably planned to help Megumi tame that shikigami with the help of Yuta and Itadori once they had been trained up.

You have no idea how much minutes I waited for the reaction was short but I need ur reaction first of all and I’m want to start yapping/rant if u said this was ur favorite episode I would not disagree with u there so many good episode and we’re kinda now in the homestretch of the arc I don’t really want to talk about mappa right now but it’s like 7 more episodes or what not mappa would literally fked us over if they ruin the anime or etc. There one particular fight that I’m interested in that the final fight so much happened here. This video might get deleted (which I hope not in case I have a copy) with sukana showing I wouldn’t want to say he not a perfect villian the way he handling itadori makes me think he the final villian were still deciding I think if u were to pick which villian u perfer the brain guy whose using geto or sukana we might actually have 2 villains in JJK it’s just the way right now sukana is what it looks like the final villian but I disagree. My poor itadori I know we all like gojo he still my number 1 but cause he my number 1 doesn’t mean itadori is a terrible MC it’s just he lacking the strength to be number 1 I feel by the end of the series it’s going to be 1)itadori 2)yuta or gojo then 3)nobara she waifu every other character is so cool and well written I don’t even want to rate the rest of them I feel bad but there all fan favorite if I could they are all 4. Legit I feel itadori and this is a theory now I can say this itadori going to get that robin treatment from one piece (if not I see two other outcomes I don’t want to explain more I’ll end up spoiling much) itadori going to want to live. That’s why they showed Ozawa beginning of the arc he going to wife her up in what I mean his role in the beginning was to eat all the fingers but what going on with the manga and what we just watched seems like he not dying anytime soon.

The subtitles on Crunchyroll were an absolute disaster. Everything was mistranslated, from Mahoraga being called Makora, to Malevolent Shrine becoming Malevolent Kitchen (lol) Dismantle becoming Dissect, Cleave becoming Fillet. Someone really went out of their way to ruin it.

lol a part of the japanese-english translations loses alot of the nuance in the original text. Alot of what sukuna’s attacks & sayings are related directly to food, and as an example “hey brat, be sure to savor this” can also be interpreted as “brat, be sure to chew this up“
