HennaSooq Question: Firstly, I just wanted to say I appreciate so much your transparency when it comes to the ingredients you use in your products! I noticed that for some of the pre-mixed masks there is an ingreditent called Optiphen used as a preservative. From the minimal research I've done on it I know that it a safe chemical to prevent the growth of mold & bacterias. Could you give us a little more info about what it is? I trust you, your brand and your products and am forever grateful for all of the education you & your team provide! Thank you

Hello thank you! We use it as a preservative as otherwise yes those masks would attract mold.

What can the coconut milk be substituted with? My hair doesn't like coconut.

I was actually about to watch the video from last week about fenugreek. I bought some fenugreek seeds a while back from Amazon. I bought amla as well. I combined them in a mixture of avocado, olive, coconut and jojoba oil. My hair loves jojoba oil and argan oil. I warmed it up before mixing. Then i let it sit for about a week. I'm convinced that I did something wrong. I also am not sure how stirring this woth a fork took all of the shine off of the fork. I had thought of Dm'ing you or going to your salon. Lately my hair feels drier than normal. And I wasn't sure which products of yours that I should purchase first?

Hennasooq question : I used to have my hair bleached , but before that I used cassia obovata with amla powder , and my hair turned yellowish / ginger after the bleach. I stopped bleaching it and I used a permanent hair color that's close to my natural hair color , which is a number 7. My question is , what can I use to maintain my brown hair color using powders ? My hair is dark blonde / light brown , but I want ashy tones on it , and not yellowish or ginger , also my hair is fine and it's breaking very easily , I need to use deep conditioning every time I wash my hair plus oils. Otherwise its crispy and dry.
