IMO, this is the 2nd best game of the series right after Suikoden II.

My favorite game of all time right here.

4:35 is the reason why u must have roy in your party member. He's just like a vegeta for this series. And he has a crush for lyon haha. Also, this attack good for multiple enemies.

When someone mentioned Suiko V what I remember is the horrible Unite attacks Lol. Even with the slow start I still finished it thou.

I thought I had recruited most of the characters as a teen. I can’t even remember half of these characters. 😅

Wow, this video is a treasure trove for Suikoden V fans! Watching all the unite attacks and magic in one place is so satisfying. It's great to see the progression from Suikoden I to V. Thanks for putting this together, Mecha Mattchu! Keep up the awesome content.

Excellent rpg, this or Tales of the Abyss are my two favorite rpgs on ps2....but I like Suikoden 1 and 2 even more. 1 while good probaby has a special place in my heart so i might like it more than most people. 2, well, most people have said it already so not gonna go on about how great it is.

Unite attacks from this game is the worst of the series. A good number of it is just the participants attacking normally and not much interaction with their partners

Unlike suikoden 2 most unite attacks in suiko V don't have clear ideas, no teamwork, just two or more characters attacking in turn. And still not mention how terrible the screen angle is.

In Suikoden 4 they looked much better. In Suikoden V they just look stiff

Only Suikoden 2 unite attack that looks better. The rest looks soo cheap.

Suikoden 4 better. 5 feels such a downgrade.

This game was such a downgrade, to Suikoden 4.

I think graphically in battles it was a downgrade. They did a great job with animations in Suikoden 4 but Suikoden 5 was closer to a traditional Suikoden experience in terms of story and gameplay.

@@lakrakthewhitegoblin3881 Suikoden 5 was not made by the same people from suikoden 1 to 4, while the game itself is still GOOD, you can see that the rune spells and unites quality took a nose dive. S4 is the worst no doubt about it but the creativity of the original crew was still there. Oh and the team that made the original Suikoden series are making Eiyuden Chronicle if you want to check it out.
