Lekk Box I thought it was real and paused it and searched then got the dating game instead. I'm heart broken right now.

Barbarossa was only in the game for 3 scenes, yet is a very intriguing character. Perfect for a prequel game on the 'War of succession' given his background.

We have a movement for the suikoden revival!

Suikoden 1-5 and Tactics bring back so many amazing memories. Sucks we may never see Suikoden VI :(

the only reason why we cant see the next suikoden because konami make it to 3d in suikoden 3 that make the budget so expensive look at dragon quest series they still focus on 2d from NES (1986) to nintendo ds (2009) so budget to create the game is more less than create 3d game that reason why konami didnt continue the series because they dont have money to create it if they create suikoden 6 with 2d that so fuking awful

Just make it 2d sprites again like octopath traveler people will play games regardless of how they look. As long as it's good.

I am a huge Suikoden fan, now about that song in the japanese commercial for Suikoden 1, the song is in croatian and I am from Croatia so I decided to translate to english the part of the song heard throughout the commercial clip in this video: "Neither you nor me Had believed that one day A dream dreamed before can dissapear Back to my past I cannot go Still I believe in the dream The sky and radiance" I tried to make it as poetical as possible while still keeping the original meaning, obviously I'm not much of a poet but I did my best.

Always love to hear from other super fans of the series. Learned a few new things

best ost , character with deep story , best mini game of all time ( war ) , only castle that grow in game ,pokemon like game but more genius 10/10 for jrpg fan

You forgot that the original manual had artwork of Prime hanging out with the other generals before he left scarlet moon empire and he wasn't playable until the second game (mind blown)

For what it's worth, they're not actually infinite. The startup data just has the quantity as 0 instead of 1. When the game subtracts 1 from their quantity of Talismans on use, it ends up getting 255 because computers, and the item stays in their inventory with that many uses instead of being destroyed. The game doesn't show a quantity on those, because it's only ever supposed to be 1. So technically it's two special Talismans that can be used 256 times apiece. It had might as well be infinite, though. If anybody has ever actually needed 512 Escape Talismans in this game, I'd be somewhat impressed and dismayed.

This may be late but when you start the game as soon as you get control of Tir I believe if you go west across the bridge and climb Mt tigerwolf then go north into the village of Sarady there is a person in the village you have the choice between an xp doubler or money double item from someone there however later after you progress the story it will be unavailable.

I'll correct myself. It's actually not a choice if you go with Tir only you get the Fortune Rune. If you go with Tir and Ted you get the Prosperity Rune. But for EITHER you must go to Sarady BEFORE the banquet at your house.

The beginning of this video pretty much sums up the painful truth... But there is still hope. Maybe not for a Suikoden game like we hope, but for something similar. As long as fans stay true to the series, and maybe even help through the Suikoden Revival movement, there will be hope, even though less and less people play and remember these games.

Eiyuden Chronicles, by the creator and writer of suikoden 1 and 2, spiritual successor if the series. Reached 4.6 million be on Kickstarter And set to be released 2022 hopefully

Wow! Had no idea on most of these. A Suikoden dating sim? That actually... doesn't sound terrible. Didn't recognize the characters though.

i'm sure i played this but i dunno it's like my memories erase.. Wish that there's still download of this at Ps store.

One of the side stories I'd want to play though is what the fuck clan clive came from. They discovered firearms before anyone by using runes to shove shit through a rifled tube.

Clive in suikoden 2 is obscenely overpowered. His technique stat is through the roof and he regularly attacks three times to any other characters basic attack, Dude doesn't need a rune because he's rocking a motherfucking GUN in ancient china.

Suikoden 1 2 3 was the best JRPG that Konami made....2 was the greatest from story telling character development OST graphics Unite attacks Rune Combos presentation and even some side quest

It sucks that Konami is basically not doing anything with all the things that made them one of my favorite companies.

its croatian language at that commercial..or some other balkanian language they are almosta same ( croatian,serbian and bosnian )

that is the main theme of another game of konami, Vandal Hearts, and is interpreted by the yuguslav singer Yadranka Stojakovick. the name of that theme is burning sorrow

Unbelievable how damn ugly the US Version's Cover is. haha Shame on me i discovered your fine Channel so late. You did amazing Work and it's good to see that our beloved Series get's some Recognition. There might be a Part 6 as Let's not give up Hopes.

Yes, Serbo-Croatian, but basically Serbian, Croatian or Bosnian, you won't be wrong with either of those languages since they are all almost identical.

My dad pronounced it "Soda-Kon" because he can't read, I guess.

Personally I also got into RPGs by playing Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games first. Later on I tried Suikoden games, who helped me to raise my RPG awareness. They are different, but very recommendable RGPs which feel more personal.

Suikoden tugs at the heart strings because it continues along a timeline, shame they messed up basically it was one guys pet project who decided he would serve 10 years at konami & then strike out on his own. He left just before the 3rd game was completed and so didn't get credited for the 3rd game. if you want to watch them on blind play through the game order (timeline) is 4, 5, 1, 2 then 3.

@@HellFireRPGs yeah in the Japanese commercial they clearly say soo-ee-kau-den with a greater emphasis on the oo than ee so if you reduce it it would get down to sooy-kau-den not swee-ko-den... Where do all those guys who say swee instead of sooy have ears? And some even cite that add as their source and just wtf! Just listen to your own reference for crying out loud! So again yeah props for being the first KZreadr so far getting it right (only people I know irl say it right as well)

shitty game like dragon quest is still alive untill now but master piece like suikoden game fail this world is unfair
