I was someone who was so hyped for this game and had so much faith in the developers... I've never been so disappointed in a game. The first couple of hours were fun and the story and dialogue actually has some genuinely great moments... but overall... good lord this was bad

I played it (fun gameplay, bad enemy type variety though), and I don't see signs of 'modern' gaming except the part in the Arkham museum thing where Harley comments about her outfit. I feel like everyone is judging this game without even playing it to see for themselves. Even if it is considered 'modern', I think gameplay matters more imo.

With every bit of news I see about this game, I feel like that kid from the Simpsons crying and saying "stop, stop, he's already dead!!" I don't even like this game and I'm glad it turned into a lesson that Rocksteady hopefully learns from, but at this point it's just sad. I keep hoping the game just dies and all future content gets canceled just so we can all move on with our lives. Instead, it's like the game's slow and painful demise has been turned into a sick spectacle that I can't stop watching no matter how desperately I want to.

It's worse in that they're matching the Avengers release timeline despite the fact that Avengers had covid and wildfires as a valid excuse for the delayed DLC. Suicide Squad was pure skill issue

However, they only committed to a four-season, one year plan. And they said anything after the fourth season will not be commented on.

The next rookstedy game shod be a cyborg game for the foloing rezons: 1. Cyborg is the lest respectit JL member by WB, he dosen't have his own show nor move not even his own comics like hes a the onliy JL member thet dosen't have nofing of his own. 2. Hes blak, and big companis (like WB) love making shows,moves or video games with the main caracter/carcters ar blak. 3. Cyborg bein a cyborg has a gagets to and rookstedy can do a lot with they're experinc with gagets and cyborg bein a machin can feal emotion/have felings harder just like Batman.

I just want them to get to the part where we actually revive the Justice League already that's all I want to see. They should just drop that.

I was only looking forward to the Harley Quinn skin and was a little disappointed that they censored it.. I could care less about the Zarya I want to be. Yeah when I saw that they censored Harley's Arkham Knight outfit I was like nope I'm done uninstalled. This company is going too far when it comes to the woke agenda. The pandering, censoring, and going off the deep end.. hopefully companies at some point realize that this is not what players want.

Well, i just downloaded Assassins Creed Black Flag, so i got that to keep me busy. At this point this game is cooked, props to them for sticking with there promised 4 seasons, despite the odds, but chances are as soon as the Deathstroke Season comes out, we got 2-3 months tops before the plug is pulled and we get to move on with our lives. If reading this Rocksteady, im not angry with you guys, you experimented with something new, but you didn't nail it, take this as a lesson, no more online, looter shooter, destiny clones. Single player games are where you shined, and its best to stick with that for now.....if your commited to D.C stuff, you got a ton of other heros to do, Superman and Flash are your next potential big ones....

Most of the Gotham Knights hate came from people who never played it and were mad that Batman wasn't alive or playable. It's a solid 7/10 game that got better with the performance patches and DLC content that was fun to play with friends.

I’m sad that we are likely never gonna get anything more from it, but to be perfectly honest I really do feel like it’s a solid complete product. But I will always be happy to have more villain cases. Especially Two face or deathstroke.

Every freaking triple A live service console game maker does this stupidity. Launch an unfinished game expecting ALL of the money, but when the corpo doesn't get as much money as expected on day one, the corpo assigns an anemic team to put in meager updates instead of actually putting in real effort or resources in changing the game for the better. Happened on the Avengers game, happened with Anthem, happened here. Honestly, if you're not gonna give some real resources for your workers after launch, you might as well not advertise an update at all! Fortnite is the juggernaut it is today because the creators at Epic kept fine tuning it until they figured out what the players liked (not so much base building, but more gunning around in fun outfits). So many game companies want to make their "forever game" out of any franchise and through any studio regardless of viability, without realizing what made those successes work. Part of it was having a decent vision of a game that didn't compromise what they already had made well. Fortnite didn't take an old single-player action adventure franchise and force it through a shooter format. They made something new. But these idiots at WB and Rocksteady didn't care when they made the game, and they clearly don't care now, since the launch didn't make all the money.

Damn another livestream game getting canceled Who would have thought?
