Yes a normal human without the aid of other supers to help him fight, he lost. There is more to it and you would have to do something you don’t want to do because then you would not be “one of us” and get to bash a game you have no idea what is happening in. I watched the streamers and KZread’s and none of them ever give you the full story so I was extremely surprised to find out the game was fun and the story good(not amazingly great but good). Each character has items and abilities they picked up from one of the heroes. Harley uses the batgrapple and swings around like Batman. Unlike Batman though, if she is the middle of an open area with no building near, one doesn’t just materialize out of no where for her.

The sad part is Arkham beyond had all the peices in place thanks to Arkham knight. You had Miagani island under construction already looking futuristic, Batman’s faked death, and the Batman beyond armor. It was all there all rocksteady had to do was take the ball and run with it but they didn’t even catch it when it was thrown.

@@Ace-mx7rdyup, I loved them both, obviously I love the classic cause it’s the classic and it’s simple and clean but that armored in knight was different (imo) no cape Batman always goes hard for me. Although I would have love to see classic BatBey on Arkham Knights graphics

I'm honestly grateful the Mr. Conroy does have one more Batman proformance after this... because this was an absolute slap in the face.

Man at this point I think no one is giving a shit about a gun detail😂 Still now that I thought about it, harley has hers revolver modified you can actually see em cartriges in other game getting ejected (ex. Injustice) so maybe it was a wanted detail.

People are laying it's fault onto Rocksteady, but it's all on Warner Bros. Like, Rocksteady is just following what they were ordered to do, Warner probably thought some years ago "oh, it would be a great idea if we made another game where there's a psychotic Superman, and it would be fun if this overpower Batman just died to a bunch of junkies", and then Rocksteady had to follow what Warner asked them to. They are an amazing studio when they are creating singleplayer only games, but Warner had to design them to create a multiplayer game and remodelate all the amazing features the old games had.

@@XXxXDECIPHERXxXXgame is pretty good. Having it all a dream would not be better but a slap in the face to a nicely written game. There was nothing dirty done to Batman. So he died. It’s funny that no one seems to know the Batman story in the game. How even he stated if they go evil take them out because they would be the doom of the world. They don’t know Batman actually leaves a message about this or how Harley says “you are not Batman”. The only part of the Batman part has sucked was his level. Walking around in the dark barely being able to see and it’s on a timer. You have to do it 4 times. Then the boss fight is like something out of Diablo 3. Cutscenes are really good.

The amount of plot armor that took is immaculate batman could literally one tap them💀

They could make it so that one of the bat family members survived and escaped and found his body, then brought it to the Lazarus pit and he came back. But a Batman beyond game would be great too.

On their defense, the people that made the Arkam games don't work there, the people that work there now are different from what we expect. It's a different rocksteady, one that doesn't care about their legacy

And on top of everything, Arkham Batman didn’t even die as Arkham Batman… he dies as a weaker, nerfed, watered down, brainwashed, shadow of what he used to be. He’s constantly being used at the end of a punchline after being caught after the most mediocre boss fight. He throws around his iconic catchphrase like it’s a gag or a joke. Not only do they kill him on a park bench by HARLEY QUIN (who he basically one shots in every other Arkham game) but they murder his character as well.

There is also a scene in the game where batman explaining the weakness of every justice league and for me it just disrespectful on how they skipping or joking around like there is a whole planet invasion why not take it seriously and at the end when batman going to say his weakness and just say there is no anti batman and was like it going to be a perfect introduction to failsafe just imagine playing as a failsafe where design to counter all batman movement and all

He wasn't alive when the game was still in production. .. what you're missing is that they knowingly kept it instead of making changes out of respect. If a beloved member dies, they should be given respect one way or a another. But this game shows they don't care about his passing away and that the new Rocksteady is woke and inexperienced. The game is Halo and Fortnight combined with some cutscenes.

The fact that gotham knights was meant to be a batman beyond game originally but with Damian Wayne as Batman instead of terry was such an interesting path to take, but not only WB make a mediocre batfamily game, but our former kings at Rocksteady made a game that could have killed superhero games entirely
