There is a reason why upper management needs to stay out of games. The CEO that never played a single game in his life probably just looked Bungies revenue and told Rocksteady to get him that piece of pie. The end result is this. Also, I like how they added the a feature that no one asked for just because they realized it stops the momentum that players have. Meanwhile, rocksteady put a shark in the game and tell us not to swim.

Suicide Squad seems like a fun game but certain things being unfinished, The water being less wavy and the story sucking made it worse

Water in SS:KTJL looks like Jello to me.

I feel like you can showcase how good spiderman is without intentionally making SS look worse than it is. The parkour, combat, and travel section were very clearly intentionally dumbing down some pretty deep and fun systems to look like they had no effort put in, meanwhile they are showing the spiderman movement and comment at their absolute best. The only other explanation is that the person playing has played SS for like an hour? It's not game of the year it's not a phenomenal masterpiece but it has fun gameplay with engaging movement and really fast paced movement based combat. There is no reason to make it look like you're playing Army of Two in a game you can be teleporting and chaining combos during combat. It's like if you showed spiderman just shooting enemies with webs the whole time.

Are you trying to summarize these two games? Spiderman is fighting characters from his rogues gallery in the second game which is a single player experience. The suicide squad is a game where it's a Co-op multi-player game that's in the beginning of its road map. Do you see the difference?

I bought ssq I didn’t care if it was it was bad or good, I was still going to play it. Now the story is not the best, that’s the weakness, but the gameplay is very fun, it can be repetitive at times but it is very fun which you didn’t show. Next time maybe learn the game before comparing to one of the best games of all time.

If you are actually being serious, you either did not play the game and simply joined the woke hate train for some reason, trolling or just plain delusional. Have you seen how many people hate Gotham Knights? You are seriously the only person I've ever met who actually says the game is good. The story is good but the gameplay is shit. The game struggles to run at 30 fps and doesn't even have a 60 fps mode. The traversal is such a downgrade compared to the previous Arkham games.

The first Spider-Man games genuinely made me feel sad after I played it. Also they don't have the same combat system. Gotham Knights combat is so abhorrently slow and clunky. Nightwing does a breakdance out of nowhere and knocks out five enemies. Combat in the Spider-Man is better. Assuming you haven't played any of the games (based on the absolutely stupid argument you brought forward) go on KZread and type 'Marvel Spider-man 2 free roam' and see just how fluid the traversal and combat is.

Rocksteady made THE best superhero games once upon a time -- this is just depressing.

Suicide squad Still better ✅️ (and from a fan of spidey) but insomniac can't deliver what they promised like the MAJ for NG+ and new costumes etc... (i loved both of these games too)

I mean, both have pretty awful writing courtesy of Sweet Baby Inc. But in terms of gameplay and technical acumen, yeah... Insomniac Games still has the goods. They haven't burned away that human capital just yet, and when Marvel's Spider-Man 2 let up on the incessant preaching and just let you BE Spider-Man for a while, it was a fine time. A shame that the technical and core gameplay teams are saddled with such awful hacks in the writing room.

quit overreacting with this Sweet Baby Inc nonsense. Spider Man 2 writing is good enough. The woke stuff for Marvel's Spider Man 2 are for side missions only and they are minor and aren't important so they serve no purpose and they don't ruin the overall experience. Plus those side missions are optional too. The term "woke" is being overused alot these days that's it's becoming cringe and lost its meaning. Woke doesn't make any game worse. Like Baldur's Gate 3 has way more woke then Marvel's Spider Man 2 but it won GOTY. I can't say anything about Suicide Squad KTJL since I haven't played it

@@arinhossain2100 Just the side missions? Huh? You didn't notice the overt pandering with Mary Jane in the main story? You didn't notice the intentional diminishing of Peter Parker in favor of Miles, to the point of literally retiring Peter Parker at the end of the game? Going forward, Miles is Spider-Man and Peter is a background character in his own franchise (this is from Insomniac Games itself. I'm not pulling it out of thin air). Also, what? More than HALF THE GAME IS SIDE MISSIONS. This short, sad thing is 29 hours to fully platinum, and more than half of that length IS the pandering side missions. You want to tell me not to overreact? Fine. How about you don't maliciously downplay the obvious and stop trying to gaslight people? Oh, one more thing: saying that a term has "lost its meaning," but then using the term repeatedly with a full understanding of its meaning... doesn't help you make any point whatsoever. If you're the kind of fan Insomniac Games is trying to cultivate, good luck to 'em. Touch some grass and learn to form better arguments, dude.

@@Ingel_Riday6690 How about you touvh grass because they are only side missions: - Peter isn't fully retired, he is talking a break so Peter isn't diminished. He will return and fight Green Goblin as it's Peter's deal mostly. Even Yuril Lowenthal confirmed he is returning. - Miles is the main Spider-Man for now, not for Spider Man 3. - If you don't like the woke side missions, just don't do them like nobody is forcing you. Also the platinum is not mandatory so not everyone like to platinum games.

Insomniac Games has overtly confirmed that Miles is Spider-Man going forward and the main character of Spider-Man 3, with Peter only in a supporting character role. Yuri confirmed that he is returning, because he is, as a support character only. Miles will be wrapping up Green Goblin and Doc Ock. You know, because he has such a rich and deep history with Peter's two father figures. Yay, SBI consulting. 😕 You're just lying, through your teeth. I hope you're trolling, because it'd make me sad to think that you believe your own gaslighting. 😀

Insomniac didn't say that Miles is the main Spider Man for Spider Man 3, they said he is the main Spider Man for now, you're making stuff up because they didn't say anything about Spider Man 3 and Miles being the main one in there, so you have no proof for SM3. It's already obvious that Miles will be a supporting character in Spider Man 3, leaving Peter as the primary protagonist. Having Miles as the main character wouldn't make sense since he has no connections with Norman. Green Goblin and Doc Ock are mainly Peter's deal. Peter will be the one to defeat them. SM3 shall be Peter's satisfying conclusion then after that Miles can be the main Spider Man. Yuri didn't say he was supporting in the next game.

Marvel's Spider Man 2 is way better. No contest
