No one recommends stuff from the great first record. Death and the healing, Beyond the dark sun, Sleeping stars, Star child...damn every song :)

Everything Wintersun does is a masterpiece..... that´s why it takes them ages between albums ;-)

This song is quite the experience.

Interesting thing .... Jukka and Kai are good friends and hence when Jukka had to step away for health reasons from Nightwish he recommended that Kai replace him. Good reaction loved it. They actually were one of the first harsh vocal style, that got this 70 year old, into listening. ❤️🤘🇦🇺

I like how someone else have noticed that every single instrument had their spot. When I discovered Wintersun ten years ago with their debut album I found it remarkable that everything in the songs were meticulously crafted so that each instrument, each note had their important purpose and there were no fillers at all. It's like micromanaging the music instead of "let's be this kind of beat and this kind of riff here and there and so on and we're done". I feel like Wintersun is like each song has been put the same amount of effort than a usual band puts into their whole albums. I think the song "Sons of Winter and Stars" alone has the amount of effort put into it than a regular band would for at least two albums. It's that insane.

this band is something they are their own tier the albums are just so amazingly good, it's hard to describe you want to dive into a RPG world and just do stuff with that as background music XD

Hey, been watching you folks for awhile. From what I understand, the main singer worked up the click track for a number of years from 2006 until 2012, when I believe this was recorded. You know by now that he drummer is Kai, now in Nightwish. I really enjoy you 2 especially the try not to head bang challenges. Take care.

Every Wintersun song is an amazing experience, they really take us to some epic journey. I really recommend "Sons Of Winter And Stars" from this same rehearsal, it's perfection in music form really. And my favorite song of all time by the way XP

You have already seen Kai Hahto in all your Nightwish reactions of songs after 2013. For me he is the best drummer due to the perfection and small details that get lost in this wall of audio channels. You need to see drum cams to figure out why he is so different.

If you want to hear another epic, please check out "Dante's Inferno" by Iced Earth from their Alive in Athens dvd. This is the best version of the song.

If you like cleans there is song that is all clean vocals but Loneliness is slowed down song and like here the growls fit the emotions. That is song for lost of the songwriter and singer. Also, you can't go anywhere without listening their song Son's of winter and stars. That became their song with you that reacts videos. All the best from 🇫🇮

@@MatandChelsReact No worries, just trying to help out because no one else ever mentions audio quality unless its literally potato quality. xD Also, every WinterSun song is a 10, everyone here says do Sons of Winter and Stars next aren't wrong, but you could blind pick anything from them and have your jaw dropped.

I remember how much hate this band got at the start. I found Jari was planning to form the band 2 years before the record came out and it was a pain to wait for the first one. Self titled def sounds much different to the last two, still love it. Jari only sings now with live show and Asim is the new guitarist

I love NIghtwish. I love all the bands in the NIghtwish world. But Wintersun out of all of them do not get the love they deserve. The whole band is f%&k*@g awesome.

OMG this audio clipping. That low edn is peaking so hard. You guys clearly as a music lovers or maybe even musicians and YT content creators should know what audio normalize and zero point means. Broke my ears and this is not ok. Thanks a lot. Great band and shit video because of the sound.

Yeah, this was our first video edited on a new system and it sounded just fine on the moniter. Unfortunately the sound problem wasn't noticed until after it was public. Mistakes happen and this was one, but what can you do?

@@MatandChelsReact Yeah i know that mistakes happens, but it's quite dangerous when huge amount of people uses headphones and that peaking really hurts. I'm professional sound engineer (mastering and mixing) and my ears are my tool. That's why i'm so annoyed. You get that right? Sorry that i came so hard on you guys, but there is way too many KZreadrs that is f*cking up peoples ears nowadays. I'm just asking you guys to take this serious. That's all. Peace! PS. Don't trust your monitors too much. Use open back Headphones. Professional tip.

Had to stop listening after 2 minutes. Your audio is very bad. The level of distortion is such that it's unlistenable.
