How do they make sugar white? Why all the sugar videos in youtube hiding this important step? Sulphur dioxide is used to clarify sugarcane juice. 70 ppm is allowed in sugar in India. To refine sugar further Bone charcoal is used which makes sugar shiny white. So stop eating sugar , eat brown natural jaggery if u still want to eat or drink sweet things.

Maintaing the ph of syrup and mixing a light molasses purity above 86 in a pan gives white colour and most important is a automatic machine and it's setting
