Suffocation songs are very intricate yet open to variations and nuance. This performance is a fine example of what the band is capable of doing when they have the right audience, the perfect sound etc. What they achieved here is a sound so orthodox, so precise, so dynamic I can barely believe what I'm hearing.

I SEEN THEM IN '91' '93' '94' AND '95'. BACK IN THERE YOUNGER DAY'S. FRANK WAS SO BRUTAL LIVE AND A HELL OF A FRONT MAN FOR BRUTAL DEATH METAL.

Man I really miss Frank, Guy and Mike. Their prefromance here was amazing, Suffo hasn't been the same ever since they left.

Seriously! This is a bootleg recorded from the audience and this performance rivals edited death metal on professionally recorded equipment. Just goes to show how insane these guys are in a live setting. This is just recorded from the crowd with no post mixing or anything and they sound better than on albums. Mike Smith’s performance especially on this just jaw dropping. Every single blast you hear how loud he hits that snare, and the riffage from Guy and Terrance is second to none!

I saw them in St Louis on this tour. Black Dahlia Murder and Behemoth opened for them. It was amazing. Suffocation was the heaviest most goddamn devastating thing I had ever witnessed.

I still listen to the live album they did in Quebec frequently. Imo, I think it's a much better live album than the one they released last year. 🤘 This band rules so hard live!

Cannibal Corpse and Suffucation are the 2 main death metal bands that hit Montreal in the early 90s. Remember there was no internet, it was only CDs. The crowd reaction is not surprising, many Montreal metalheads grew up with Suffucation + Metallica.
