I had no idea humans could run the distances she runs at the pace she runs and not die. She amazes me with her talent and her wonderful way she approaches life.

She is my favourite runner and such an inspiration. So tough but seems to be a really nice person with it too. Legend.

I have been a runner my entire adult life and was hoping to get into some ultras but, unfortunately, I was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease called SCA6 about two years ago (I inherited it from my dad). My neurologist told me to keep running until I started falling down and then I would have to reevaluate. I fell twice in ten days last July and stopped running. It has been such a heartbreak and watching videos like this makes me both happy and very sad. I have not given up completely, not yet. I am going to try again using walking poles but I have to wait till my frozen shoulder (from the second fall) thaws out. Long story short, thanks for the inspiration and the fantastic beer. We have a case of FKT in our fridge right now. Keep up the good work.
