One thing I love about HF is that they have TWO basses. People don't necessarily think about it, but Chance was doing the whole bass line while Tim was on lead. And then they switched...and it was just SEAMless. Awesome.

Actually the the bass line is Tim the whole time and Adam the bass Baritone sings other harmonies to add fo the song

I love this song! I went to church for many many years, and when the church went woke we left. The thing I love most about loving God, is he will always meet you where you are spiritually. On another note! The group Foxes and Fossils do an amazing version of this song. Their harmonies are top notch.

It didn't even click with me that it was THIS song...I love the original of this song. But with Austin's "praising" and Tim's beautiful range, I think I like this version more...WOW...amazing song, amazing reaction... #HerdLove #DJAntlers

There is nothing better than driving down the road in your car listening to classic rock. This is a very popular Home Free song. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group.

I love this song! I've never even heard the original, but I love what Home Free has done with it. I'd like to make another Home Free song. They did a cover of "How Great Thou Art". Like you, I'm not particularly religious, I don't attend church, but I find my spirituality listening to beautiful music and looking a beautiful scenery. This is an old traditional hymn and they filmed it in the Austrian Alps. It sounds like what I would imagine angels singing would sound like. And the scenery is just so beautiful. The second request is "Gaston" from The Bass Gang. Peter Barber did a tremendous job with this arrangement and it's absolutely delightful!! You also may want to watch Peter's reaction to it. He gives so much interesting background information that makes the song even more enjoyable.

Maren Morris' introduction song. I liked it when she did it and Home Free gave it a real upgrade (which is saying something).

I loved watching the light bulb go on over your head as you got" the meaning of this song. I am a Christian and yet i agree with this song too at times.

I’m a Christian and when I had my Honda Areo 750 that’s the only time I could get away from the problems of the day and just go to the highway so I definitely can relate to this song!!!

The "amen" section in their live performances of this is audience participation. They divide the audience into three sections, and Rob, Chance & Tim each lead a section to get huge harmonies. Then Gospel Austin goes stratospheric with the Hallelujahs.

There is a difference in being religious and being spiritual. Music brings out the spiritual. The church is not a building, it a group of believers making up the body of Christ. The Bible says to make a joyful noise unto the Lord and don’t they just do that in a most joyful way! Being spiritual does not mean constantly being somber. God gave us music and Home Free delivers it in harmony as we should be living in with each other! Great reaction! 🎶🥰🎶

Music is the universal language! I'm not really an "organized religion" type of person but have no problem with it unless someone tries shoving it down my throat. I heard someone say something that has stuck with me for decades. "It's better to be sitting on a riverbank fishing and thinking about church than to be sitting in church thinking about fishing." I feel my closest connection with God when I'm doing things in nature or when I'm listening to music. Great reaction! When Home Free first released this video (pre-released on Patreon), it instantly resonated with me. I’m not one for church, but I do love music. Music from Home Free, to me is amazing and is my go-to for when I need a pick-me-up (or not). I love being myself in the car listening to my music that I love: Classic Rock, Home Free (including solo music from Tim, Austin, and Chance), 90’s Alternative, or my driving, upbeat mix!

Of course the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific - they always are! If it feels like Austin took you to church, he comes by it honestly - when he was a kid he sometimes traveled and sang with his father's gospel quartet in Georgia. And of course the inhuman incredible freaking good "drum" of Adam Rupp as the complete creator. This will give you a big smile on your face and a good feeling... AMEN!!

I love this song for the exact reasons you were talking about in the video. Not only are the boys doing an INCREDIBLE job in this one, but the message in the song is so incredibly powerful as well for multiple different reasons.

For the Christmas season, I recommend their Joy to the World, where led by Gospel Rob they take the song places you did not know it could go. The official studio version is excellent but the video just shows the album cover. I recommend the Hallelujah Concert video, which is a nearly-identical live performance where you see all they do and there is a light show.

RE: Can't have variety of conversations about actual religion without getting into arguments.... Yes and No. Over years studying same Bible and applying it to different parts of my life or the state of the World there is often some new way to see the same lesson. Like every sunrise and sunset are basically the same but depending on where you are and the day you're having you can get something new. I actually saw something as the sun was going down that I hadn't seen in such a beautiful way tonight. On my way home driving tree lined street, my car and many trees taking on deep shade. But tall trees, one with crisp yellow leaves glowed golden with the sun anove the deeper colors. It was sweet.
