Last year was my first time actually caring about gardens and my front yard. I MUST SAY LAURA YOU CHANGE MY LIFE COMPLETELY . i went from a empty, dry and death front yard to a full landscape design created by me. i have sooo many plants,bulbs, perennials, etc. and now this video got my new succulents order. OK--I have to admit...I've never really though much about succulents until I started watching your channel. This has made me want to learn and try it out. It is a great way to focus on the inside during winter months. (Especially like the ric-rac plant!) 😬But these names--it's like pronouncing bible names in Sunday school class! I had a long day going to the Dr out of town. Laura's enthusiasm with this unboxing was full of positive energy I needed right now. Excellent camera work Aaron always. I was thrilled about the variety of cactus but Laura's enthusiasm was worth watching also.

I don't look at house plants very often so it is nice to be able to sit and enjoy you going through all these plants i otherwise wouldn't see. Very nice of them to send you so many.☺

Succulents are definitely not my thing. Sometimes when i'm at a plant shop, while holding 2-3 plants that i don't need and don't have room for, i sometimes think "at least i don't like succulents". But seeing your enthusiasm while talking about them gave me a new perspective of these interesting plants. And especially after seeing the plug tray, i might have a spot or two for some succulents... 😬

Anyone else's dog perk their head up when Laura started using the squeezy tool to dust off the echevarias?? Mine looked up at me like "WHAT IS THAT!?" Reminded me of the toys with the silent squeakers that apparently only dogs can hear! Too cute!

What an amazing pack of plants! I love that you got a bloomer it’s amazing how almost every succulent you got would actually bloom in the right conditions. Grow lights is best for the full show of blooming possibilities for those who want to see more out of the succulents.🥰👍

We just received 40cm of snow here in Southern Ontario, Canada. I’m sitting here with a coffee by the fireplace watching my favourite gal bring me some plant Joy. Hello neighbour, I’m in southern Ontario as well and I’m just learning how to better care for my succulents. I have a great sunroom addition with south facing floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows that bring in way brighter light than any home I’ve ever lived in (to the point where it burns the leaves of many tropicals, I’ve had to move them all back) and I STILL get leggy echeveria. They still reach for even more sun. I think without a grow light set up, it’s tough in our neck of the woods, unfortunately. Although I’m sure there are better succulent parents than me who can offer advice.

@@persephonespomegranate as far as I understood the succulents from watching Laura (I'm not an expert) it's the way they are and you just have to cut them back to get the tight plant. You can use the cuttings to root them. I guess they require the maintenance in that way.

Wow. I've purchased from Mt Crest because of your last video (last year) and they arrived in beautiful condition. Not all growers take such care of their plants or how the are packaged for shipping. BTW- cotelydon is pronounced cot-a-lee-done. I love the variety of this species.

LOVE Mountain Crest Gardens because of you. You’ve done a few unboxing in the last 2 years because I started purchasing from them based on a video. I thought watching this video would be dangerous to my wallet. They had great living ornaments with hens and chicks that I gave as a party favor and they were a hit. Cool unboxing - I can't wait to see what you do with them. We had a snow and ice storm last weekend with a warm day prior so I went to Home Depot (ours has wonderful succulents), picked up a bunch, and had a winter project the next day 😄

It's been at least 2 years from your last unboxing. I bought a bunch of stuff from them when you did it. Some are thriving. I killed about half but they were not expensive and was a wonderful way to cut my teeth on a first time experience with succulents. They were packaged so well.

Oh this was like Christmas morning! I love succulents and cactus! That had to be the largest plant unboxing that I’ve seen in a long while. I have a small heated greenhouse where I keep all of my succulents in during the winter. It’s great to have something to still harden with. Thank you so much for the beautiful unboxing!

You guys should do a video on essentials and tools you use for gardening and seed starting!! I'm a fairly new gardener (I discovered your channel about a year ago and was inspired by you of course, you helped me discover my green thumb and a new passion ❤️) and something like that would be amazing!! I've added the kangaroo pop-up bag and felcos to my list of things to get this year after seeing how much you use them and how durable they are... And the augers! Those are amazing!! I never would have know some of those existed without watching your videos!

When you mentioned the little succulents that can be grown outside I instantly had a picture of the big area on the new area just at the end of your lane closest to the house were you said you might put a water feature. I saw a big rocks in the water feature and those succulents nestled around the rocks. Of course what do I know, this is not my line of work at all! And in fact last summer was the first time I ever had plants on my patio and that is because of you. I only killed one plant and I overwatered it to the point it was swimming before I realized it. I just dumped it out at the edge of the patio soil and all and I see now that it is growing in that heap where I just dumped it. Maybe it will have flowers in a few months. What a surprising adventure.
