    Hi Megan, I’m so sorry, I’m not able to sell right now. I would rather suggest that you start with cuttings instead of leaf propagations. Here’s a link that you can check: amzn.to/3BNxyHn Most of the time, leaves would fall off in transit and you’ll find them as you open your package, you can definitely try and propagate those loose leaves. • @SucculentFame

    @SucculentFame

    Hi Sarita, I’m more than happy to help you. Most succulents die because of too frequent watering. They die because their roots can’t stand being wet all the time. You really have to wait until the soil is dry before you water again. When it is time to water, it is super important that you really give them lots and lots of water. The soil has to be super wet. They have a way of thriving in any kind of weather with our help. We need to do some leg work in fact, in harsher weather conditions like snow and extreme heat or extended wet seasons, like moving them around to provide better growing conditions. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask more questions. Thank you for asking. I really appreciate it. ❤️☺️🌈

    Hi Debjani, they can take so much sun in the winter, but try not to water too much. I only water once or twice within the entire 3 months of winter. Sometimes, twice is still too much watering in the winter. I hope this helps. I think it is still too frequent watering that killed them. Thank you for this comment. I really appreciate it. ❤️☺️🌈

    In propagating a succulent clippings and leaves, after the ends are properly calloused over, for the average home how often should the soil be moistened if they should be moistened at all? I know that with succulent leaves they get their moisture from the plucked leaf.

    Hi! Lately, I would just look at the mother leaves, the roots and the baby leaves. If they look fresh enough, I barely mist. Maybe just once every 10 days or even longer. But when temperatures are higher, I could mist as often as every 3 days. Sometimes even 2. I hope those who are waiting for a response from me will see this. Today, I made a decision to respond to newer comments. I have been trying to respond to older comments first, hoping to catch up. • @SucculentFame

    @SucculentFame

    4 жыл бұрын

    Hi Divya, one good rule of thumb is to look at the leaves. If they have the white or bluish silver coating that sometimes look powdery, called Farina or Epiticular Wax, they are more likely to tolerate direct sun, such as Echeverias Elegans and Echeveria Imbricata and most Echeverias, Pachyphytum, Sedeveria, Kalanchoe and Graptoveria. There are so many to enumerate. And yes, you are right with the Aloes and Haworthias. They do great indoors, by a window, as well as Snake Plants. Thank you so much for the inquiry. I really appreciate it. Huge apologies for the very late response. Wishing you love, blessings, health and happiness! ❤️🙏💫

    Hi! Are your succulents in pots or are they directly planted in the ground? Succulents in pots are easier ‘cause you can move them around. Your best bet is in an enclosed space like your garage or under as much shelter as you could provide. As for those planted in the ground, I think they would be fine. I have some planted in the ground (planted them 10 months ago) and they got rained on for weeks about 6 to 7 months ago and they did just fine. They were planted in non-fast draining soil. They soil is just whatever. They are even fatter. I think there is something about them just being in direct contact with nature that keeps them alive and healthy. I’m still trying to figure out why they are better off in the ground. But I’m speculating that it’s because pots are way too controlled of an environment that the soil in the ground. Thank you so much for your message. I really appreciate it. Blessings to you! ❤️☺️🌈

  • @SucculentFame

    @SucculentFame

    5 жыл бұрын

    It would be great if you’ll leave them under the rain, if it’s time to water and take them in when you think the soil is already wet. I wouldn’t suggest that you leave them out for more than one day. Wait until their soil is really dry all over before taking them outside. Please remember that the soil at the bottom and around the roots dry last. So dry top soil does not always mean they are dry all over. That’s why I always suggest using a moisture meter. With it, you can check in multiple areas in the pot. Thanks again! Blessings to you! ❤️😃 by the way, since it rains for 4 months, you will probably just need to water or take them outside for them to get rain once a month or maybe even longer.

    They really change color with changes in the season. Watering is also a big factor. Make sure that the soil is really soaking wet when it is time to water, but make sure that you don’t water very often. ☝️ please also watch my video on “how much sun”. I would suggest filtered light. Try using sunshield for those two. 😃 Direct sunlight would burn them, especially if it is an abrupt change from being in the shade and out. I hope this helps. Thank you so much. Hi Demi, it is going to be a bit tricky though. It has to be done really early. In the summer, even morning sunshine can burn succulents. I would still suggest filtered light. Ideally, they need about 1 to 3 hours of indirect sunlight, depending on the succulent. You’ll find that some would stretch really fast and some are okay with very little light. Your best bet is to really observe them. It is always good to be on the lookout for early signs of etiolation before they get too leggy. I hope this answer helps. It’s just that with succulents, there seem to be no one size, fits all type of solution. Happy Planting! Thank you so much for asking your question. Feel free to ask more.
