I'm an old timer, I received my first Barbie doll for Christmas 1969. :) The dress Midge is wearing is Zokko from 1968. It also came with long orange dangling earrings and silver boots.

I have an extra 80s Belle but she has her bangs cut. You can have her if you want her!

Chad, you are so lucky. Our flea markets in Turkey almost never have vintage Barbies 😢 And when they do, they sell out really quickly and for incredibly high prices.

I still would have picked up Speedy ❤ I wouldn't mind having five of them 😂

The dress Midge is wearing is called Zokko! #1820 for a Mod Barbie… it’s either a vintage one, but there’s also a reproduction released…😊

Great flea market haul! That pink dress brings back so much nostalgia for me. It's from a Dance 'n Twirl Barbie I remember having in the '90s!

The pink dress is from dance n twirl Barbie she came with a remote control stand that made her dance the dress on midge is from the 70’s when twist n turn Barbie came out,the sculpt that wedding day midge uses is called the diva sculpt from the 80’s Barbie and the rockers dolls

The Olympic Barbie had a striped jacket that dates to 1970, a sears exclusive. It was pink and green. Great video!

OMG I would have been in trouble for sure deciding what to get. So many good dolls. And ponieeees!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Your Whizzer looks so good👌I have 2 of her but both have the pink spots....I think that's very common with some of the Twinkle Eyed ponies. I think the pink dress on your Shopping Spree Barbie was already identified correctly in the comments as Danc'n Twirl Barbies dress as well as the dress your Midge is wearing. It's a late 60s Barbie dress (or the repro). Once again thanks for the video 😘💕💕💕

Aww I'm glad the video was able to help you unwind. 🩷 This flea market trip was so successful. I even saw more things in the footage after the fact that I wish I noticed while I was there. 👀 There were even a few vendors I skipped at the end because I had already bought so much by then. 🤷 I will have to go back soon, haha! And thank you, I have no idea if I will even find another crystal Barbie dress in the wild. Haha. But it is a funny story, so now, so this Barbie is more special to me now. 😋💎💎💎 I'm happy with Wizzer. I wish the prices for this vendor were just a little lower, I would have bought more. Then again, I'm not a good negotiator for prices. Although I will be going back to her for more of those Barbie fashions! Looking at the footage they were not bad prices. I wonder if there is a good way to identify if the dress that Midge is wearing is an original or a repro 🤔 and I like the dance n twirl Barbie dress, but I wish it was in better condition. the part about shipping !!! doll shipping prices are so crazy to me cuz why is it $13.50 shipping sometimes for an out of box doll that weighs like a pound or less 😭 also I am so glad you picked up the crystal and shopping spree barbies !! those were so pretty and I would've been so sad to see you leave them there

It's weird how in the past, for a while, they made Barbie look realistic. Then in the 80s & 90s, they have her eyes an unnatural bright blue, with same blue eyeshadow 😂. Then went back to more realistic faces again. I hope they stay here. Because we have other doll lines for anime/fantasy etc. faces if we want that.

I am always curious when I notice more recent doll lines i.e. RAINBOW HIGH & MONSTER HIGH appearing in the 2nd hand market/ thrift store stock. It seems a fast turn around from current to past? Also, I would like to know their price point; are they much cheaper than their original price & why do you pass them by? My collecting started through finding MONSTER HIGH/BARBIE/BRATZ etc in our version of Thrift stores!

When it comes to the newer doll releases, I already have majority of the ones that I want in much better condition than what I find at the thrift store or flea market, So that's why I never picked them up. Also, since there is a high demand for the modern dolls with collectors right now, the prices are higher than they should be. Surprisingly, a lot of the vintage dolls are less expensive because there's not as many people looking for them I think.

1:51 So the redhead is Beck! The blue dress one is Rani, the curly haired one with the flower hat is Lily, and the one with long dark hair is Fira, my favorite! This is actually my favorite Pixie Hollow era and I didn't know they had dolls. I would have snatched them up probably because I have this gorgeous old pop-up picture book that shows the inside of their homes. The art is so pretty and I love those specific fairies. 😍💗
