Subway To Venus - RHCP Bass and Guitar cover (with Chad's drumtrack)
Музыка
You can find the original video here: • Subway To Venus - Red ...
While the goal of this channel is to focus on the genius parts that John Frusciante and Flea created I noticed that so much of the energy comes from Chad Smith! So I thought it would be fun to upload songs I covered on bass and guitar but add the original drum track from Chad Smith!

Agreed, the drums addition is great. Versions with and without could be useful for someone trying to learn behind you. Great video as always, cheers!
Man, it's incredible how good this song is, it's from a phase of RHCP that we don't see anymore, but I'll tell you that I'd like to see this sound in the line-up of shows (although there's a lot of top music) I'm still waiting for that one cover of strip my mind, happy Sunday.

I wish they would play this song! It may be my favorite 80’s RHCP song!

@@RedHotChiliRiffs definitely the guys' sound in the 80s was at a very unusual level, I was a teenager when I heard Californication and as their sound always gave me good vibes I went after these older ones, I admit that I already tried to play some of them but I'm horrible, So every time I play Anthony 🤣
The drums were the only thing you needed to have the best rhcp covers man, this is the shiii👏👏
Whoop whoop! 🥳🥳🥳🥳 Chad has entered the ride! Awesome! Drums add so many layers! It adds to almost every Peppers song. It sounds even more like on the record. Just hearing the bass and drums melting together is so uplifting! Oh yeah! 🌶🔥🌶🎸🤘🏽🥁

@@RedHotChiliRiffs nice one!
Hi ! Would it be possible to have the drumtrack you used here ? Im doing a cover or "subway to venus" for an upcoming audition to get into a music program to college. I don't have quite the knowledge or time to learn how to isolate the drumtrack myself. Could you kindly provide the drumtrack you used here ? It would be tremendously helpful !!!! I also found a PDF for the whole MotherMilks album with music sheet and tabs, its the original book too! Thanks have a wonderful day. Amazing cover
great cover! where did you get the original drums?
Are you gonna keep uploading your bass/guitar only videos? I practice drums with you as my backing track, man 😅

Of course, the bass and guitar covers are the main videos on this channel. Nice to hear that drummers are using my videos to play along to!
oh god it feels so empty without anthony vocals lmfao
Nice, a very unusual song to cover. Why the ATK though? I've used to try to buy it, but there are none in my area and driving very long distances to check it out was not really worth it to me. How do you like it compared to your other basses? It was called a Stingray killer back when it launched but as far as I can tell it doesn't really sound like a Stingray.

The Ibanez is the first bass I ever bought way back in 1998. It’s a Stingray style bass but it doesn’t sound as good as a real Stingray. It plays great though and I think it’s great value for money!

@@RedHotChiliRiffs I have a totally unrelated question here. So I started playing bass in 2005, practiced much in the first 4-5 years, got pretty good technique-wise and then kinda lost interest. Recently after more than a decade and after watching some of your videos I regained that interest and decided to start practicing again. I bought a new bass, the Harley Benton BZ 4000 II, I always wanted a neck through bass and its (slap) sound, the thick glossy neck remind me of my all-time favorite bass the Spector Euro 4. Anyway, now I cannot decide which practice bass amp to get. So I thought maybe you can recommend me something. My favorites are the Orange Crush Bass, Ampeg RB and Fender Rumble. All of them in the tiny 8 inches 25-30W version for home practice. I'll be mostly practicing using headphones anyway so I don't really need them Watts. Have you dealt with any of them in any way? Maybe heard from others what they recommend? The "reviews" on KZread that I found are rather useless.

I think all those amps are fine. I use a small Markbass practice amp. My all time favorite amp is the Gallien-Krueger.

@@RedHotChiliRiffs Hmm GK and Markbass are too expensive for my pocket and needs 😁 maybe I should grab my bass and drive 56 km to the music store to try them. What bass case would you recommend and do you think there are decent ones below 100 Euros?
@RedHotChiliRiffs
8 ай бұрын
@zeenedin9013 I don’t think I can give decent advice about that. I never bought a case for a bass. I have a few basses that came with a case so I use those.
where I can find the tabs that u used on this video?
