    It's sweet onion combined with teriyaki sauce and it has aftertaste of teriyaki zing which reminds your taste buds that this is not sweet onion. 😜 which bothers some people like me. So I prefer sweet onion sauce only the original. But you can now make at home with this recipe. Thanks for stopping by.

    I would like you to explain "onion juice" further for some listeners. Like... Puree and then strain an onion? Onion juice is not a common ingredient where I am. Juice, like, just squeeze one really well and collect the juice? (Actually that makes a lot of sense) I have more questions....red, usually? What if I were to use a sweet white (like Vidalia or Maui?)

  • @Sanamskitchen

    @Sanamskitchen

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hello asmit317ity, you may use any onion to make puree (juice), for this recipe sweet onion is used but I had to use red since that what's available to me. I am sorry for confusion about juice and puree ... i just blended Onion and strained the puree to get more like a juice without its pulp. I hope it helps, thank you for visiting my channel.

    I went to Subway recently and yes they have discontinued the sweet onion sauce and replaced it with the teriyaki sweet onion sauce which is bad idea 💡 because I only liked to eat at subways (when I am outing or traveling) because of its sweet onion sauce.

    Actually, subway only recently started mixing teriyaki sauce in with their sweet onion sauce. Which is also when I quit eating there because I specifically went for the sweet onion sauce. The mixed sauce isn’t bad but I’m actually very grateful she provided just the sweet onion sauce recipe by itself. Will be making it soon🥰
