5 months ago, I uploaded a video called "Subway Announcements from around the world part 1".
The "part 1" thing was a joke, which means that I only wanted to make only one video of some subway announcements. For some reason it got 914 views and 18 likes and became the most popular video on this channel. So here is the part 2

Announcements on Milan's or Brescia's metro.
Still remember old announcements of metro in Vienna by Franz Kaida, they existed already from 1968 in trams and buses and were initially played on audio tapes. In metro they were substituted in 2012, while in trams it continued existing till 2013.
Great video. The Vienna metro has a new voice since 2013. I like the old one you used better though. Sounds more Austrian 😊

2:40 those annoucements are what made the Viennese public transport special. It's a shame they changed it, Franz Kaida was the most memorable announcer and an icon of Viennese transport

Actually İstanbul subway system is the oldest subway in the world after london. We have tunnel which was started operating in 1875.

I think Finocchio might be the most ridiculous name Italy ever gave to a metro station… still, it’s always funny to hear it😂 Btw it didn’t open in 1945, we had quite the issues back then

The announcements on the Barcelona Metro are not Spanish. They are in Catalan.
