Excellent show. After an episode I not only have a good feel for the rules, but also how the game plays and if I'd enjoy it. The only thing I'd like to see is some overlays added in post production, like an image of a card/tile popping up on the screen as it is played, or updates to the score as the game progresses
Nikki's "chair, lunch, dinner" ( Mitch Hedberg) quote was awesome. Made the vid that much better. 👏👏👏👏🙌
I totally with everyone who suggests overlays. No need to go as far as they do on tabletop, just a quick closeup of the tile as it is drawn would do. Thanks though - an immensely helpful video.
I love this game! Had lots of fun with the family with it! :)
I do like this game - now to try the expansion Thanks for the review
I wish Dave had written the rule book for this. The original rule book is quite vague and confusing in parts.
I feel like Lincoln either didn't care for this game, or was just in a real bad mood.
Wow im liking the expansion.
Awesome vid!
The top of Nikki's shirt looks like Rover from Animal Crossing
Favorite part: Aaron: It does nothing. It's just holding a place for something else. Dave: But you want it don't you? Aaron: Kind of, yeah. LOL
I love the production quality that the videos have now but I have to say, I miss the "real world' feel that the kitchen gives.
44:30 Aaron is like me.... hahahaha
@37:50 - No, not everything counts for itself.
Not a recession, it's the called declining "city charm" in the flavor text

we call it the cost of infra-structure in our game.
I don't think Dave's goal is a very good one; intentionally keeping your reputation low so as to complete that goal seems likely to either cost you more points or very close to as many points as it gets you in the endgame. I never like bonus goals where completing them is unlikely to ever get you a very big net payout, and can actually hurt you.
Maybe you should make the video after you've all played the game a few times.

Two of them have.
Dave is a control freak. That constant reaching over others and taking control of other players stuff is just rude.
Please play cluedo or something like it
Man. Over half an hour to explain the rules. Sounds complicated.

The time it takes to explain rules doesn't necessarily mean it's more complicated...nothing about this game is really complicated but there is a lot of things to know, which takes time to explain...a lot to know does not equal complicated

RuathaK Its not to complicated, end of turn is a bit at first its a six step process.
I love the videos and games but they are just a tad long, any chance they could be shorter somehow?

You know that you don't have to watch the entire video right? Just skip to the end for their final thoughts.

Richie Turner Really? Is there an option in modern day computers that allow me to do that? Well who knew thank you :)

+Rex Kross yeah dude. You didn't know? Bad-assery I know.
A bit of a shame that you played the income rule incorrectly. If the income cylinder is on an odd number you pay not collect!

Wait what? Is this an expansion rule or something?

I know this is *way* late, but just now watching this and it needs to be corrected if anyone ever reads these comments: you only pay if it's a *negative* number, not an odd number.
