In this professional development program, Christine McCall, Clinical Director of PEER Services, provides training on substance use among older adults, including how to assess substance usage. She shares information on how substances affect older adults differently and reviewed effective approaches to treatment for this population, including harm reduction strategies. This training was a CJE Professional Development program that was jointly sponsored by CJE SeniorLife, JCFS, Peer Services and Elderwerks.
