HI! I wanted to give you an update that I decided not to get the brown sweater because a lot of you seemed to agree with me on it, BUT I changed my mind on the black pants and kept them! I just need to make sure I reach for them! You're right that they did fit me nicely. Thank you everyone!

I agree that you need to keep the blue plaid shirt. Its unique. Red and black plaid is nice but pretty common.

Knits are all clothes made out of stretchable fabrics; a t-shirt is a knit. If it doesn’t stretch, it’s woven. The more you know 🌈 ⭐️ 😄

This is not quite true. You're correct that all knits are stretchy but not all woven fabrics are non-stretch. Some woven fabrics are stretchy because they are made from materials that are stretchy, like spandex. That's why you can have stretchy jeans, which are still made from woven cotton fabric but mixed with spandex for stretch.

The Welsh twins did Advent calendars the other week, but they were food ones. There was a popcorn one for £30!!! The amount of popcorn in it wouldn’t even amount to a small bag 😅

@@lindsayder idk first pair of jeans I looked at at the mall today was 89.00 CAD! Prices have gone way up in just the past like 2 years 😭 But also like Jen was saying you are paying for the convenience of someone putting together your box I guess? Maybe that's worth it for some folks 🤷‍♀️

I never hand wash. I put it in the washer on the delicate/handwash cycle with cold wash and cold rinse, and then I air dry it on a rack. For the super delicate things I have the dryel kit. I’ve not ruined anything yet 😂

No to the brown sweater. I agree with all of your other thoughts on wantable. The dress and the boots from stitch fix and the blue plaid are my picks.

The red plaid shirt with the black jeans is the bomb on you ! So so cute 🥰 But dang, the prices are scary… And you’re right, the off shoulder sweater is a little bit weird.

The brown sweater from Wantable is a hard pass for me. If it’s supposed to be off the shoulder, it fails fantastically. The blue plaid shirt is a heartbreaker. 💔😭 The pale rust colored sweater from Wantable, is very pretty on But the rest that you’ve chosen is spectacular! 💖💖💖

The brown sweter is return ,the fading plaid is expensive but fitting great and I think if you get a lot of wear from it it's really worth

The dryer causes pilling wash and hang dry😊

Good keep choices. I think that the brown one does lay kind of funny when worn off the shoulder.

Jen, I’m not an expert on color theory and maybe it’s the lighting, but the softer colors you tried on really seemed to wash you out. You look so much better in darker and jewel toned colors. I liked how you looked in the red dress, the red plaid shirt and the dark green top. I know you don’t like black pants, but the red plaid shirt would look great with black pants you already own. If you really want the Tahoe shirt, maybe look for another color. That color doesn’t do you justice.

I actually really loved the doleman sleeved sweater much better than the one shoulder. Either way you should go for something that you feel comfortable in and will wear. Love these videos !

As for knits as an avid knitter/crocheter/dressmaker a knit can also be a type of fabric. It usually refers to jersey. Which is a fabric that if you look up close looks like it's very finely knit and is super stretchy. Basically a fabric that is microknit and is stretchy not because of the composition but rather because of the way it's woven.

I adore cranberry color on you. The red plaid and the dress are keepers. The same goes for the booties since you can get a lot of wear out of them with the other items in your current wardrobe.

Those black jeans look good on you! I hope you watched this back and realized you had to keep them ❤️

The prices are outrageous! 😮 The color of the brown sweater is good for you, but I think the off the shoulder aspect looks a little weird. I'd send it back.

I’m cracking up because I literally said “WHY???” about that sweatshirt price one second before you did. 😂😂 My last sweater from Stitchfix pilled so badly with just one wear, I’m a bit jaded about paying these prices for their items anymore. I tossed it in the goodwill bin after one wear. I don’t want to waste my money like that at those prices. Oh, and no to the brown sweater for me. It didn’t look bad, but it didn’t look amazing either. I agree on saying it looks forced if you wear it off the shoulder.

The brown, off the shoulder sweater was my favorite thing you tried on (not counting the booties which I loooved) so I say keep it for sure!

I don't think there's anything special enough about the brown sweater to keep it. And yes, it felt forced pulling it off the shoulder. I really liked the red plaid shirt from Wantable, but the Tahoe sweatshirt obviously sparked joy for you and I'm glad you are keeping it. I have a red plaid shirt I got from Gap (they don't have it anymore) and I'm pretty sure I paid about $35 for it. It's a popular color for the season. The dress would be perfect for Valentine's Day! and I love the booties. No clear winner between the two boxes IMO.

Absolutely love the brown sweater on you, the side shoulder looks so good on your figure- you have great shoulders and it looks flattering on you. Not everyone can pull off a side top without it looking sloppy, or disproportionate somehow.

My biggest issue (ok 2 issues) with both services is price and clothes that are very nice and decent quality, but very basic. For plaid shirts...Marshalls and TJ Maxx carry Beach Lunch Lounge for $24.99. Old Navy has great plaids too.

I liked second sweater better than brown, black jeans I'm glad you kept them. Great dressed up look. A quick FYI about pulling, I learned recently was anything that pills in fine mesh laundry bags, its the other fabrics you are washing them with. The really fine mesh bags with tiny holes don't allow other fabrics to touch your nicer clothes in the washer so no pilling. Try it!!!

I’m only 1 box into this video and the stylist nailed the color palette. I love these videos and you make it really fun.

I think the really big sleeves are called “batwing” sleeves. AND, I think you need to treat yourself to that blue plaid “dipped” top. It is not only plaid but it is unique, and that gets bonus points from me lol

I have a couple off the shoulder sweaters. Keep it. You can also wear it on your shoulders and the length extends on both sides.

From wantable, i liked the light brown dolman sweater and green sweater. The tahoe sweater looks comfy as well. From stitch fix, i like the blue gradient plaid and the booties.

Things have just increased in price. A jacket I bought 18 months ago for $1500 is now selling for $4k! In 18 months. The green jumper is so good on you! It’s your color, it makes your skin look brighter. I think jewel tones might be your colors.

Ok....just finished the end of the video. You've got a really good point about the price on the black/red plaid shirt. I do like the brown sweater on you. I think I originally liked the Dolman sleeve sweater because I used to love those. It looks nice on you, but not better than the brown one.

With Wantable, I love the red and black plaid shirt (it just fit you so good... Maybe it was stitch fix), the Tahoe Sweatshirt (obviously), and the green sweater was nice and solids are great for layering. If the brown sweater is something you won't feel like you will pull at it, it looks really good on. With Stitch Fix, I love the dark palid shirt, the dress is beautiful on you and the booties are great😊

Get the red plaid shirt the way u lit up when you tried it on. Love the green sweater on you too and the red dress is perfect 🤩

Jen, try using the lingerie bags for clothing that needs more care. I don’t hand wash either. I put those items in the lingerie bags and wash on gentle.

The sloutchy brown sweater, the green sweater and the plad from the first box looks good on you. The shoes you must get! The blue plad and the dress is a total hit.

I think quality wise & style wise, wantable wins, where you keep the brown sweater or not. They styles, to me, were super versatile, but also comfortable and you. I know the price points were super high, but I think that just comes with the territory regarding these style boxes.

Hey Jen, Thoroughly enjoying this. I always look forward to JenLove vid 😊 A knit fabric is knitted--by a machine, though, not a human--and you will see the loops you are expecting if you use a magnifying glass. The thread used is mich thinner, and the knitting is much tighter than a handmade sweater. Hope that clarifies things.
