I made a snow fox, but I lost the damn thing, as well as the station, so I have to make a whole fucking new one.

I started the game and just explored the creepvine forest, and was eventually lead to a sandy area with 2 supply crates and a few cyclops fragments. I didn't have a scanner, a seaglide, not even fins or a standard oxygen tank. All I had were 2 flares and about 9 peepers. I opened a supply box and grabbed the disinfected water in it, to which my PDA started saying something about organizing a daily water ration, but I wasn't listening. I heard a roar to my right, and saw a reaper charging me head on. I knew I couldn't escape it, so I just accepted my fate. It stabbed its claws into me and I overhear the PDA going on with its message. "...will help ensure against dehydration, **tossed into reaper's mouth** and eventual death." Turns out, I didn't die. It just threw me into its mouth, ate 4 of my peepers, and spat me back out. I was able to swim away without fins. It's all because I organized a daily water ration.

Subnautica pro tip: The seamoth defense system shocker thing is the best way to make reapers fear you because they come so close that you can scare them away with only half a % from your seamoth.

Wasnt paying attention and a fish hit my seamoth had to put the control down for a few minutes

One time I used so much bladderfish for water that I couldn't find anymore, basically made them go critically endangered around the safe shallows as I sometimes saw them in other biomes.

you can easily cheese the reaper in front of the aurora with the broken walls of the ship it will take you awhile though to fully scan him and never do it in night time and dont worry even if you die your scan progress wont reset as long as its the same reaper.
