Nothing beats the time I was building on the gun island. I had a scanner room scanning for reapers because of my massive fear of them at the time. I looked up and saw the scanner icon in the air, and a reaper landed in the water directly in front of me. Pissed my pants, and cried myself to sleep.

Not as bad as what happened to me. I was getting a bit of resources in a cave in the grand reef, then i heard a ghost leviathan sound and seconds later, an adult ghost leviathan came from the walls, luckily i was close to my seamoth so i immediately hopped on, pressed the perimeter defense system button and just speed away. I dont think im gonna go back to the grand reefs unless i need to now.

I have an ongoing glitch that happened in every one of my games, both creative and survival. If I have a builder tool in my hands while I’m placing the purple tablet to access the Quarantine enforcement reactor, I instead place the builder tool instead of a purple tablet and it makes it look like it’s a holy builder tool, yet I still can’t figure out why it’s just the builder tool that works or why only on that specific door.

Most ppl usually have 2 because you will need the cyclops to get to that alien base in the lava zone near the end of the game with the sea emperor leviathan and once then at a point you need to use a portal to get back to the safe shallows and your cyclops (prawn suit or sea moth) will be stuck back in the lava. Sooo you’ll wanna make another and I think that guy had so many because he looses a cyclops every clip jump he makes

For me, Leviathan is better

My favorite is just how the Reaper Leviathan acts in Safe Shallows. I brought one from the Dunes to kill it and the poor guy looked completely lost trashing around half in the air and half in the ocean stuck in sand basically. Made for a decent screenshot above my bed in the base though.

i had that same glitch that happened at 4:00 but it wasn't nearly that severe, thankfully u can fix it by exiting and re entering the game, this is why you always save in subnautica

Take a cyclops, go under the lifepod and ram into it from under with w and space, this should make you fly and the lifepod goes hellaway and floats back very slowly.

The subnautica music is so cool! I even found the soundtrack in Spotify.

Here's a somewhat complete explanation on what spawnNearby is and what it means and does when it fails. (And other glitches!) *What is spawnNearby?* spawnNearby, according to my (very) limited knowledge, is the variable the devs used to spawn the player, well, "nearby". I think that it takes into account where you are, what's near you, and what vehicle you're in to work properly. *What does spawnNearby failed mean?* When spawnNearby fails, it means that you couldn't be spawned... nearby. I know this all sounds self-explanatory, but it gets more interesting from here. spawnNearby failing also means that you are put in the orientation of whatever vehicle you are (were) in. This explains why the camera is all glitchy, and if you do this with a seamoth the effect is much more clear than if you do it with a prawn suit. *What are the "side effects" of spawnNearby failing?* Well, all of the side effects are currently... unclear. I know SOME side effects, through testing, but I'm debating whether there are more "side effects" to the glitch. If you do it just right, you can walk on the ocean floor with this glitch, but it's very hard to do and I've only done it twice. *How do I do the glitch?* Doing the glitch is quite simple, and there are many ways to do it. If you want a simple "test" run of the glitch, build an i-compartment with a hatch to get in, then spawn in seamoths thru the dev console. After you spawn in about 2-3, get in a seamoth. When you try to exit, you should see the "spawnNearby failed" message. Now you can move around INSIDE the seamoth, but that's boring, so try exiting again. This time, the game FORCES you out of the seamoth. However, it doesn't check the spawnNearby variable, so it just assumes you are still in the seamoth. Now, if you are inside the i-compartment, go out through the hatch. If you are outside the i-compartment, then I presume you can walk on the ocean floor? If you can't, no worries, it doesn't really matter. Oh, what's that? You're getting a seizure from the camera? Interesting, I predicted that. *Can this glitch crash your game?* Uh, yes. It can. I've crashed my switch SO MANY times, it has to be over 100 at this point. Not all of them were from this glitch, but a majority were from me experimenting. I've also had a savegame corrupted from doing this, so be careful. *How do I fix this?* Well, there are 2 answers to this (that I know) 1. Exit and Enter the savegame again 2. Spawn in another vehicle and enter and exit it (without spawnNearby failing) -=- Cyclops hatch glitches: I currently know a couple of glitches, and the best way to do it. 1. The hatch that you use to enter your vehicle is the best way i've found to do it 2. This WILL damage your cylcops To do the glitch, all you need is Ryley Robinson, and a cyclops. Have both? Good. First, go to the hatch i said above. Second, open it Third, close it but walk into it weirdly Fourth, if it didn't work, just repeat steps 2-3 Fifth, FUN This will launch your cyclops "randomly" (it isn't random, but I can't really describe it) in a few meters to (the highest i've ever gotten it) over 100 meters! What fun! -=- *note on the bit limit* Speedymouse said that the "variable" was the problem, but it was actually the bit integer limit. -=- Have any other glitches? Reply them to me and I'll make sure to update it!

Fun fact: if you grapple onto a small fish in the prawn suit and just walk forward, you’ll go much faster than normal. It’s an easy way to get around. Also the first time I saw a sea dragon (in creative) it could just swim through walls like they weren’t even there. That made scanning a whole lot harder especially since I didn’t know a cheat called “encyall” which add every entry to the databank such as abandoned pdas, voice logs, flora and fauna data, precursor stuff, and even some removed entries. Edit: holy cow I didn’t realize I typed an entire paragraph lol.

What surprises me the most is the fact that the aurora actually has physics even the areas that noone would think to go to

ultra easy glitch you can do without cheats: drop water lockers on the lifepod until it reaches a certain angle or starts wiggling a lot, then after that, enter and then leave from the stairs, and "voala" you are now dying of radiation and leaviathans! :D

The cuddle fish looks like the uncle everyone likes who doesn't have kids of their own

Also, this is sheerly the best ( presumably teenager? ) Ran channel I have ever found, counting other games and topics as well.
