Subnautica 2.0 Playthrough, Episode 07

After a long break, Subnautica is back better than ever in new 2.0 version:

As a result of my earlier polls, this is a full playthrough with commentary. Primary base will be set atop one of the spires in Grassy Plateaus. I'll keep it as efficient and as clean as possible, while enjoying the content in it's entirety, which includes: completing the main storyline, finding all the blueprints, creature eggs, all the plant seeds and exploring all the wrecks.
The time has come to visit the mysterious Floating Island. There we find various flora samples, some of which are a great food source. We also encounter a previously established outposts built by the Degasi ship survivors: Bart Torgal, Paul Torgal and Marguerit Maida. There are many PDAs which provides us with clues to what happend to them. Outposts provide us with all the main habitat structures like Multipurpose Room, Large Room, Observatory and the glass domes.

YES you upload so regurarly. Genuinely my fave youtuber atm. I'm still on my first subnautica playthrough, played like 50hrs in november and took a break, but because of your vids I picked it back up today :). Currently exploring lava zone for the first time. Those leech things suuuuck.
I wish we experienced rain during Subnautica.

This is such a great series! What location would make a good spot for a first time players main base?

Possibly the Southwestern or Northeastern Grassy Plateau biome, next to lifepod 6 or lifepod 17. They are close to entrances of Late game areas and are still fairly central biomes. I'd say the Southwestern Plateau is more viable, as most resources are abundant, including a Jellyshroom Cave which contains Shale outcrops and magnetite. Good luck.
