Submerged Italian village resurfaces for first time in 70+ years

The Italian village of Curon has resurfaced for the first time since 1950, when it was flooded to make way for a hydroelectric plant.
In April, the water that submerged the damned town was drained to make repairs on the reservoir, but it won't be exposed for much longer. Workers have begun to release the water back into the lake meaning the village will be hidden once again within weeks.
But as Mike Drolet reports, this isn't the first time the damned town has been in the spotlight during the pandemic.
